I could not have asked for a better experience working with A+R to order and receive my gorgeous Muuto bar stools. I'm not a contractor or designer, but just a regular homeowner who adores modern design. The folks at A+R kept me updated on the status of my stools, and they arrived in perfect condition, well-packed and protected. I LOVE THEM. Thank you, A+R for helping me obtain exactly what I wanted at an affordable price, when it seemed like I would not be able to, given customs and import taxes.

Outstanding Service and Support. I ordered replacement slipcovers for my Bensen sofa with chaise, and the entire experience exceeded expectations. While the initial lead time was 12 weeks, the factory delivered excellent quality—but a couple of pieces were unfortunately sewn incorrectly. This is where A+R truly shined. Our representative, Mario Baltazar, handled everything seamlessly. He coordinated with the factory, and the replacement covers were delivered in less than two weeks—an incredible turnaround! Just visited A + R and customer service and friendliness is still nonexistent as some reviewers mentioned. My bf and I were literally the only customers in the store. There was Motown music playing at a chill tempo that you could still hear a few pin drop. I said multiple times "excuse me" walking towards the only employee seated and rather than help me he completely ignored me and even looked away. We decided to peace out since who wants to support a business with folks that whack.

Such a gorgeous showroom! If you love roaming around IKEA, you're going to LOVE this place! There were so many unique pieces. Some were functional, others were beautiful, and then there were the ones you would only ever see in a showroom... On our particular visit, the sunset lamps, mochi-like chairs, and avant-garde clocks caught our attention. Loved window shopping! Note: It's very quiet with no music playing, so it was lots of whispering amidst the slightly awkward atmosphere.

Absolutely stunning store with, unfortunately, snooty indifference displayed by the team. I'm renovating a new home and popped in today as they carry many of the wonderfully unique design forward European brands I buy for my homes. From the moment we walked in, until the moment we left, the person working never once lifted their gaze from their computer nor did they greet us or offer assistance. This included when I stood directly in front of him complimenting a Miniform dining table to the person who came with me, noting it was the right size as I needed something narrow. Still nothing, not even a nod. All of the brands on offer are available online. No wonder so many of us go that route when this is what "service" looks like for high end furnishings. Disappointing for such a beautiful space.

I wanted to send a review concerning my interaction with A+R. I ordered an Ourdooroven which, as I knew, was to be shipped from the factory in the Netherlands to Wisconsin. Not too surprisingly, the shipment looked like heck when it arrive, with some pieces damaged and others missing. I immediately emailed A+R and received a response that same day. Everything was taken care of. Replacement parts (of substantial value) were shipped immediatley at their cost and arrived in perfect condition. If, in fact, A+R wanted to ignore the problem, they certainly could have made it difficult for me. Their concern and response makes me feel secure that I would not hesitate ordering from them again.

I ordered a piece of furniture from Japan through this store. I was kept informed of the progress of the order and when some difficulties arose with shipping (through no fault of the store) they were dealt with immediately. Communication has been outstanding throughout and I would not hesitate to purchase from this store again. Item has now arrived and is gorgeous!

BUYERS BEWARE It's a very nice showroom and that means they don't have anything on stock ( this is what Luisa told me ) the nice blonde lady that works there. I went to this store to get a table lamp from menu that cost me 275.75 to be exact , they told me that because of the Presidents' Day the table lamp would be shipped Tuesday 20 and I agree Today I called to get the tracking number so I can track my order and see what is taking so long . Finally after 15 calls and trying to get information of this David starts screaming at me and I don't know who he is ! He told me he was trying to understand what was going on . So I decided to make a charge back because apparently no one at this company know what they are doing . I was a loyal customer since they where on la brea but for sure this kind of situations and the way the handle this is more than enough to not going back ever again .

I fell in love with a counter stool design for our new kitchen and a few months after we started using them some of the legs became detached from the seat. We still LOVED the stools so much that I wrote A+R about it. Samantha replied to me promptly and she offered to send 4 new stools with metal foot bars instead of wooden ones like the original stools I ordered. It took a while to get the stools but they finally arrived and they are as gorgeous as the original ones. They are all extremely comfortable as well. I'm extremely pleased with the customer service. Thank you thank you!

This place has beautiful stuff which is why my daughter and I came in here to buy a lamp for my wife for Christmas. If you're not a twenty y/o hipster DONT BOTHER. We were here 30 minutes and a blonde lady behind the counter said exactly one word to us then turned away to go help some more young hipsters..... ugh. Ended up getting a parking ticket it took so long. Needless to say we left Too bad a store with such nice stuff is SO RUDE to normal middle aged people.

Buyers Beware!!! I ordered this poster online 1 Into The Blue 01 Designer Poster (Stiicks Magnetic Frame: Walnut) 45.00 I was sent only the frame, no poster. Their response was; "We understand how that may have been confusing and have since attempted to clarify in the dropdown menu". Really!!!!

STAY AWAY/BUYER BEWARE. I ordered an $1300 table IN JUNE and was told 4-6 weeks. I was shipped a DAMAGED table in November and received a measly $200 refund. It is now DECEMBER and i have still not received my replacement. There are plenty of other retailers that sell their products. it should not take HALF A YEAR to get something that you paid for. Just awful.

Hands down one of my most adored stores in the world! I am so happy to have them on this side of town although I would have gladly driven to Venice anytime for this place! A beautiful Design store that never fails to draw me in and inspire! They have everything from furniture and wall hangings, functional art objects, jewelry, house gadgets, toys and some unique Apple product accessories... Open, spacious and crisp in a huge space! I love everything A+R finds and brings together so that myself and like-minds can indulge :)

Possibly the best design store in Los Angeles. Fun, unpretentious, well-made, affordable design for the home and office. We've been going to the Venice store for years and not only is this location more convenient it's also many times larger with as many items. Validated parking in the adjacent garage.

This is a store for people who truly appreciate the creativity, craftsmanship, uniqueness, and subtlety of Scandinavian furniture. Andy and Rose and their team are super friendly and knowledgeable.

This store has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. After delaying my order for three weeks, I tried to return it for poor quality and didn't get a response back for twelve days! I had to call them twice, once to the on line department and once to the store, trying to find someone to help me. I still haven't had anyone address my complaint. Unacceptable. I will NEVER shop there again.

Very professional and accommodating service at this store. I received a gift certificate for my birthday and used it at the end of Dec to buy a cool wireless speaker. The speaker unfortunately broke a month and a half later and I couldn't find the receipt. They exchanged it no questions asked. Thanks to Alex who works there and who helped me. And thanks Evelyn for the gift card! I would highly recommend this store to anyone!

I would not order from them again. They have a nice selection online, but every time I've ordered the delivery and shipping has been delayed. They are barely apologetic and do nothing to help correct the issue (for example, expediting the shipping or giving a small partial refund for the inconvenience).

Honestly one of the coolest stores in LA - a bit of a trek to get to their place in Venice, so stoked that their finally up on La Brea. They hand-pick the most stylish pieces, and despite most of their stuff being on the cutting edge of modern design, the prices are surprisingly reasonable. Have bought numerous gifts for people from here, along with a few lighting fixtures for our offices, and always been happy with the quality. The staff are INCREDIBLY welcoming and personable, which to be honest, has always been an issue at a few of the places on Beverly. Whenever I go in there I am made to feel like they actually want my business. There's a real mix of stuff in here, from couches to weird little iphone holders, but without doubt, there's never been a time I've been in without wanting something. The problem is of course, I NEED nothing. 1st world problem.

Buyer beware. I purchased 3 mirrors on this site. When I didn't recieve a tracking number, I contacted them and was then told it would take 6 weeks to deliver. As I counted the days, I called and emailed them and they finally gave me a tracking number. One week later and still no mirrors. I contact them to resolve it and I get the cold shoulder. I walk into the store and they assure me they sent me the wrong tracking number ... but when I get home, they tell me it was delivered. I contact them to show me proof and get UPS involved and no response. After tring to work with them, I just asked to have my order and refunded and now they're telling me they have to wait another week before they can do anything. Completely unacceptable. I still don't have this resolved nor have I been given a refund. Maybe when they see this review, they'll be motivated to actually care and help me out. I'll keep updating this as they make progress.
