A truly wonderful local Italian restaurant! Highly recommended for anyone who wants to experience authentic Italian dishes rather than the typical tourist fare. Our waiter, Lorenzo, was incredibly friendly and attentive, and his English was excellent. When he noticed we were unsure what to order, he suggested a few dishes based on our preferences and every one of them was spot on. I enjoyed every single bite, and honestly, I wish I had euros on me because I would’ve tipped him very well (Not to mention he is quiet charming). Lorenzo also made us a phenomenal espresso martini hands down the best I’ve ever had. It was perfectly balanced, smooth, and full of flavor the ideal complement to the meal. My friend tried the pistachio tiramisu and absolutely loved it, and she’s not usually into desserts. She’s also quite the food critic, so if she says it’s phenomenal, you can trust her. The presentation was beautiful, and the overall dining experience was perfect. I’ll definitely be coming back the next time I’m in Rome!

I went with my family to celebrate Christmas dinner at this restaurant. It’s a bit away from the main tourist areas, but it’s absolutely worth the trip. Our Uber ride from the Trevi Fountain cost €16. We ordered carpaccio, octopus, chicken, and a salad, and finished with a pistachio tiramisu — everything was delicious. Caro was our server and she was incredibly attentive. She speaks perfect Spanish, which made my parents feel very comfortable. I would definitely come back again, please keep up the great work.

The AR Monte Testaccio was incredibly tasty! If you find yourself in Rome, you must go there right away! Federica, our server, was just fantastic. We're from NY and only speak English, but she was able to understand us and give the best recommendations on food. I tried the ravioli with burrata cheese and the pistachio cheesecake. Let me tell you, that cheesecake was the most delicious thing I've ever had in my life! It was just amazing!

We visited this restaurant twice during our one-week stay in Rome, and it was absolutely perfect! It is not in the city center or among the usual tourist traps, and it is not a famous spot. We simply walked by, thought it looked nice, and decided to try it. It turned out to be our best dining experience in Rome. The food was amazing, with some of the best pasta we had on our trip. But it was not just about the food, the staff were so friendly, and the atmosphere was wonderful. There was no rush to order, no pressure to clear the table quickly for the next guests. Every customer was treated with genuine respect, and everyone around us seemed to be enjoying themselves. We spent around three hours there and had such a lovely time. A few days later, we had a reservation at “Felice a Testaccio,” an overrated restaurant that was a complete disappointment, both in food and in the way they treated customers. We left before even finishing our meal and came back here to end our last night in Rome on a good note. What a difference! The staff welcomed us warmly again, served us complimentary Limoncello shots, and when we asked about their delicious extra virgin olive oil, they told us it came from the owner’s relatives’ farm. They even offered to sell us some, and we happily left with two bottles at a very fair price. If you want to experience Rome with authentic food, a warm atmosphere, and genuinely kind people, this is the place. You will enjoy incredible pasta, be treated like a valued guest, and leave with a full heart. We will definitely be back again!

Wonderful place!!! Best food so far in our trip through Italy. We ordered the Toast with Roast Beef for Aperitivo, the Fettuccini with Clams (best pasta that we’ve had so far!), the Pork, and the Pistacchio Tiramisu. Everything was truly delicious, and the service was top notch. Very cute and pleasant atmosphere as well, it really welcomes you to stay and enjoy your meal!

We were so impressed with the atmosphere and service and the food and drink at this wonderful restaurant in Rome. Our Airbnb host, Veruska, had recommended this location to us and we were not disappointed. We were staying in the Testaccio neighbourhood. Not too far from the touristy spots but thankfully far enough away. Our server, Frederica, was over the top amazing and so helpful with our questions regarding the food and wine. We would recommend this location as a must visit destination while anyone is in Rome. The atmosphere in the restaurant was incredible and we got to do a private tour down into their basement where there are these ancient and amazing ruins. Paul and Andrea Canada

I have went through so many google reviews based on Italy restaurants and all said they have the best tiramisu but it’s not really that good. But for this one, IT IS REALLY THE BEST PISTACHIO TIRAMISU THAT I HAD IN ITALY! Fettuccine with mussels is also so good especially the grilled peppers~ One of the best lunch I have 🤭
