We visited this restaurant twice during our one-week stay in Rome, and it was absolutely perfect! It is not in the city center or among the usual tourist traps, and it is not a famous spot. We simply walked by, thought it looked nice, and decided to try it. It turned out to be our best dining experience in Rome.
The food was amazing, with some of the best pasta we had on our trip. But it was not just about the food, the staff were so friendly, and the atmosphere was wonderful. There was no rush to order, no pressure to clear the table quickly for the next guests. Every customer was treated with genuine respect, and everyone around us seemed to be enjoying themselves. We spent around three hours there and had such a lovely time.
A few days later, we had a reservation at “Felice a Testaccio,” an overrated restaurant that was a complete disappointment, both in food and in the way they treated customers. We left before even finishing our meal and came back here to end our last night in Rome on a good note. What a difference!
The staff welcomed us warmly again, served us complimentary Limoncello shots, and when we asked about their delicious extra virgin olive oil, they told us it came from the owner’s relatives’ farm. They even offered to sell us some, and we happily left with two bottles at a very fair price.
If you want to experience Rome with authentic food, a warm atmosphere, and genuinely kind people, this is the place. You will enjoy incredible pasta, be treated like a valued guest, and leave with a full heart. We will definitely be back again!
