During a day-trip to Casablanca, and after enjoying a pizza and walking towards the nearby U.S. Consulate General to pick up a passport, Google Maps routed me through the large and attractive Arab League Park, with a very long reflecting pool, fountains and surrounded by dozens of extremely tall palm trees.
I was delighted to discover this oasis of tranquility with vast green lawns, shrubs, flowers, and walking paths in the huge bustling city of Casablanca.
I think if I lived in Casablanca, I would love to be close to this 30-acres (14 hectares) park. Don't miss this special place when visiting Casablanca. It seemed to be popular with families, runners and walkers.
