Arabian Nights Hotel

I visited from Japan in March 2025. The owner and staff were very kind. It was my first time in Egypt and I was a little nervous, but the hotel's service put me at ease. It's reasonably priced and perfect for backpackers. Thank you to the owner, Mr. Abbas, and the staff for your kind hospitality.

Simple and clean room with no extras. Fine to spend the night. Bathroom was clean but in the hallway. Breakfast was delicious and nice. Service was excellent, exceptionally kind and forthcoming and we were allowed to leave our luggage after check out to roam the city. Location is very busy but we still felt safe.

This hotel is in a beautiful location directly in the historical city center of Cairo. The whole staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful! If you are planning a trip to the pyramids they can organize a trip for a fair price. You can stay in their second location "Giza night hostel" in waking distance to the GEM and close the pyramids!

Very good and generous breakfast. They offered us tea all the time. The alleys behind the hotel lead directly to the historic center and the market, if you mange find your way through the labyrinth that is.

If you look for a central base and secure haven to dive into the old city center of Cairo this is the place. Even better if you plan tours to visit any place around you can orgsnise it from here to a very fair price. To visit the pyramides you can sleep at their outpost hotel in Gizeh.

I highly recommend this hotel. My best friend and I had such a lovely time there. The hotel is very authentic, the location is perfect and we had a warm welcome. In the hotel a person named Abbas helped us every time we need (food, room service, taxi, trips…), he was very caring and friendly. He also propose trips in Cairo, Aswan, Luxor and the Red Sea if you need. You can trust him, he will advise you well. The hotel accommodations were satisfactory, and the staff was quite amiable. During my five-day stay, I appreciated the convenience of having various shopping and dining options within walking distance.

I didn't enjoy my experience in this place and can't recommend it to others. The staff is not polite. Trying to get as much money as they can. They do not really care to even serve you breakfast. The rooms in this place are very old. They have AC. The only good thing about this place is that you will have a big park nearby (although you have to buy tickets for about 1$). And also there are a lot of Thai restaurants in the area around. Some of them are pretty tasty, especially drinks!
