Located in the heart of Maputo city center, the hotel offers limited parking options. They ask guests to park on the roadside, where a guard is on duty 24 hours a day. The rooms could use some TLC; the ceilings have mold and the paint is peeling. Breakfast included cheese, omelet with eggs, Vienna sausages, chickpeas, cornflakes, diluted juice, tea, and coffee, served with only white bread. Overall, the service was acceptable, but staff members only spoke Portuguese, with no English-speaking personnel available.

It's a good place with good location, bit of an issue with electricity if load shedding occurs during your stay. I am recommending the place for adults only.

The service was great hosts are very friendly but I was disappointed with the quality of the room. It's just poorly done fittings and furnishing for the price you pay. There is aircon and the English channels on TV which was nice.

second stay at this hotel over the Easter weekend.....it was a great place....got there hours earlier than they were expecting us. They had our room ready... All the staff at this hotel was super friendly. The bedrooms were comfortable. The breakfast was really nice..especially some homemade sweet bread they had....security was good. I can always recommend this place to anyone making an overnight stop in Maputo

After they first tried to give us a room in the basement with no windows or ventilation, we ended upin a room with windows near the pool. he rooms facing the pool looked good, but you could not open the curtains without being seen. ||Breakfast was delicious with plenty of fresh fruit, great coffee and fried bacanand eggs.||Minus: No kettle to boil water, no glasses, only the second time did we have afridge in the room. Att the price I would have expected tea and coffe making facilities... but then this isAfrica!!!

This hotel has an eerie atmosphere and 'unique' decorations. It has many rooms in the basement that do not have a window to the outside, and thus no natural light or fresh air. The room I was in had maintenance issues that only added to the "dungeony" vibe of the room. To add to the unpleasantness, after asking the front desk man if I could change my room, he said no because it was late and since they do not change the sheets every day, the potential next guest who would have the misfortune of staying in my room would have to also sleep on my dirty sheets. The breakfast is at best mediocre. The wifi was non-existent in the basement

My room smelled of mold and my daughter's room was so noisy, because of the pool's motor, she couldn't sleep. Every time we returned to the room at the end of the day the air conditioning was on probably to disguise the terrible moldy smell but it did not work and the room was freezing on a winter day. You could barely get to your room because of the narrow space between the pool and the walking area. The breakfast staff was unfriendly and wouldn't even say good morning back to you. Most of the furniture was damaged in some way and the room's distribution was awful, there was very little room even for our suitcases. There was no floor towel in the bathroom and only one toilet paper roll so every time you needed more, you had to go and ask. Also, only one socket in the whole room near a desk.
