The kitchen is the the size of a small closet, churning out the best croissants I've ever had. A Belgian chef and hip staff create delicious (fennel egg scramble) and delightful dishes (soldier eggs with actual toy soldiers). My favorite brunch spot in Capitol Hill, busy on Sundays but fairly quick service.

Oh. My. This corner shop has charm in the best sense of the word. As other users mentioned, Jojo is brilliant. I highly recommend the smoked salmon scrambled eggs with capers. And I don't even like salmon!! Fantastic, 5/5. If I were local, I'd be in every morning.

I hesitate to write this review, because when I find a spot as good as Arabica Lounge, I'm tempted to keep it all to myself. But Jo Jo, the owner, pours his heart into his decor, his food, and his relationships with customers, so I must. Arabica Lounge is one of a kind, even on Capitol Hill. Jo Jo makes all the pastries by hand, is there all the time, and always plays an excellent host. This morning my girlfriend and I went in for coffee, and he was so excited about the spicy marshmallow confections he'd made the night before that he ran back into the kitchen, brought one out as a gift, and torched it to caramelize. He does things like this all the time—impromptu—and I could barely get my phone out fast enough to catch the photo. You won't find any other place like this in Seattle. Arabica is brimming with character and creativity. Bravo, Jo Jo!

Stopped in around New Years and they were closed (apparently Seattle kind of empties out between Christmas and New Years). Anyways, the owner let my wife and me in when he sees us peering inside. Turns out he's really cool and nice and ends up giving my wife a confection for free. Really comfortable and interesting space too.

Pricey, but awesome. The only reasons I didn't rate the food "excellent" was the price/quantity ratio was off for brunch. Maybe I'm a cheapskate. Otherwise, I really loved the place and would definitely go back again.

Staff is very friendly and welcoming. Their breakfast scramble is delicious and the space has a charming vibe.

Atmosphere is cool and the live music is nice, but the coffee is mediocre at best.
