The rooms were very nice, and the hostel was definitely better than some of the hotels I visited in Israel. Staff were very friendly and provided excellent service. They were fast when responding to requests, and were extremely friendly. This was the place I visited in Israel that I felt the most welcome. The rooms were clean, very large, and quite spatious. The landscaping was very beautiful, and the rooms had excellent views. Thir dinner was pretty good as well. Highly recommend.

Most of the Israel Youth Hostels are nice. This is one of the nicer. It's very clean; seems newer than others. We stayed there for Shabbat with a group and it was well kept and organized. I didn't really see much of Arad but the hostel is well located, has easy parking and the manager was friendly and helpful. Shabbat included meals, which are probably only available with a group. That makes it hard to compare prices. The food was OK, not gourmet, but I've had worse at youth hostels. It's probably moderately priced.

The rooms were actually great - very modern, new furniture. Bathroom had separate areas for shower, toilet, and sink - so it was easier for the three of us rooming together to get ready at night/in the morning. There were outlets and reading lamps by each bed. It was a really nice room, actually. The problem was the food. The food at the cafe definitely wasn't as good as food we had at other hotels/hostels/kibbutzim during our trip. But the rooms were nice!

If ]you've a car and one day is not enough to spend on the Dead Sea, then this hostel is a perfect choice. It's clean and the rooms are very decent. Breakfast is quite good too.||Yes, there're lots of teenagers around, but there was no trouble for us there. ||Walking distance from the hostel is a nice local pub "Musa" where you can have a pint of beer and some good food too. ||Price was 100$ per night, but it seems those are the good deals you can get in Israel:)

The standard of cleanliness was high and the rooms, being chalet style, were private and tranquil. As in most youth hostels in Israel, the sheets were far too small and kept falling off me. They might be the right size sheets for children but not for adults.

We traveled to the Dead see in June and decided to spend one night in Arad. We booked a triple room and the breakfast was included. Instead, we were assigned a dormitory for 8 people, with 4 bunk beds, which did not correspond to the description and the pictures posted on a popular booking page. The bathroom and bed sheets cleanliness was poor.||The YH complex was quiet and we could neverthelss have a good sleep.
