Truly enjoyed my week-long stay at Aragon House. The property and back garden are beautiful. My room was bright, cosy and comfortable. The garden closed at 9:00pm; thus no issues with late-night noise (mentioned in a previous post). The food in the restaurant is delicious (I especially enjoyed the Chicken Caesar salad with bacon). Location is great: (1) the Tube station is a short walk and (2) there are several bus routes (including a stop in front of Aragon House) that enable one to easily get out and about. Most importantly, the true highlight of Aragon House is its wonderful team who make it shine and bring it to life. From management to staff - 𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙮𝙤𝙣𝙚 - exemplifies the perfect balance of professionalism, friendliness, refinement and fun — a true 'home away from home' for this solo traveller. Wow! What a terrific hidden gem. Great location and access to the Tube. Clean, comfortable and thoughtful, well-appointed rooms. Food and drink always first rate. The staff were amazing...always friendly, smiling and willing to help. Staying at Aragon House is more like visiting your best friend than staying in a hotel. I plan to make this my "home" anytime my travels take me to London. Thanks to you all!

This hotel is very nice. It's very appealing, a great location and the people are wonderful! My only issue was sleeping. We were on the street side and as a light sleeper it was difficult to sleep with all the traffic sounds. The room had an extremely hard mattress. Both my husband and I had difficulty sleeping on it and were very sore from it. They did provide me an extra duvet to sleep on top of for some cushion. I highly recommend they get a pillow top cover or something to soften the bed a bit. My father also stayed there and his bed was softer and he was not on the street side so something to consider if booking.

I had an exceptional experience celebrating my birthday at Aragon House. The garden was a great vibe and perfect for the occasion. In particular, our waiter Will was warm, friendly, and incredibly attentive throughout the night. He went above and beyond to make sure everything was just right, from keeping our drinks topped up to making sure our food was served exactly as requested, even splitting dishes for us without hesitation. He checked in at just the right moments and made us feel genuinely looked after.

Had Sunday Roast here and it was amazing! Grace took such great care of us—warm, attentive, and genuinely kind. She made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived and had excellent recommendations from the menu. The lamb share plate was a favourite. Will definitely be back.

Absolutely unacceptable experience. The burger was basic at best, with a few chips just thrown onto the plate — no care in presentation or quality. It arrived cold, and when we sent it back, we were served another cold burger. Later that evening, both of us became seriously ill with food poisoning. I reported this and provided full details for a food safety investigation, but I’ve had no response to my emails and no follow-up whatsoever. The lack of accountability is shocking. Regardless of the investigation, the food and service were appalling. I expect a full refund and a proper response.

Caesar salad was very poor. Hardly any dressing or chicken. No better than a Tesco meal deal. Definitely not worth the price and nowhere near as good as it used to be. I did email them directly before posting this but nobody bothered to reply.
