HARITHA VALLEY RESORT ARAKU

The property is located in a very good area, making it easy to access nearby attractions and transport. The rooms are quite spacious and comfortable, giving enough space to relax and move around. The overall environment of the hotel is peaceful and pleasant, which adds to a relaxing stay. However, the service was disappointing. The staff was not very responsive, and basic requests took too long to be addressed. Improving the service quality would make this hotel a much better place to stay.

It is a very good property by APTDC in Araku Valley with a wide view of the valley. The location is good. It was my second visit as a Tour Operator. My first visit was in 2006 when I saw this building under construction. Good location, Good ambience. For a short visit. As I am authorized by APTDC, I prefer to book this property for my clients who are visiting Araku.

Really good hotel/resort managed by the govt. Lots of activities to do like pool and gym. Rooms were very nice but were riddled with mould. All furniture, beds were in good condition. The staff were dedicated and very open to suggest places to see in Araku. Food was also quite good. However the wifi does not extend to all parts of the resort.

Rooms are quite big when compared to the private properties. Cleanliness of rooms is decent. But I think some renovation work is going on. Property is very huge and looks decent and near to the visiting places nearby. It has inhouse restaurant also.

Govt run hotels- poor maintenance and extremely poor staff. Very unhelpful staff. Basic hotel facilities lacking - no tea/coffee maker, fridge and substandard toiletries. Bathrooms are dirty. Complimentary breakfast is a farce - take it or leave it. Restaurant is unhygienic with torn upholstery and full of flies. Overpriced - avoid this hotel

Very good property under not so good management. Property room wise and common areas wise was great. But they were not clean at all. In fact we found lizard poop everywhere. Swimming pool also, area and design wise great but we did not dare to enter it since it had extremely bad water. They also do not have wifi in rooms. Few things that were good are : * Bonfire * Restaurant and Food * Bamboo Chicken * Walking area of the property * Greenary

Most pathetic experience! 1. Sub-standard food 2. Dirty pool 3. Rude and boor staff - attitude is always on 9th sky. Even if commissioner comes, they will treat the same. So shameless! 4. Room service orders can take forever. You must check on at least thrice n for a simple cup of tea, you must wait 25 minutes. 5. Even if u r staying for 2 days, you must clear your bill after every food purchase. They don't tab it. It's like I am in a remote place in Uganda! It's a total waste of money and time and both are not valued at this place. Always ask for company's QR or machine to pay. Else they provide their own numbers and charge u more on each bill. 6. Also, don't complain, else an electrician will also yell at you here. This lot will have their lesson, very soon! SUCH PROPERTIES MUST BE PRIVATIZED AND EDUCATED AND PROFESSIONALS SHOULD BE HIRED. NEVER COMING BACK HERE. A TENT STAY Would HAVE BEEN BETTER!

Don't visit this place with high expectations. Good for not more than 1 night stay if no alternate available in Araku. No room service, no security, zero customer attention, no wifi, no intercome, etc. Old property with less maintenance. Only self service. Plus is good landscape and spacious. Hope the concerned will read all these reviews and work for better improvement and attract repeat customers. God bless Haritha..
