This hotel is BREATHTAKING and incredibly stunning. There is absolutely nothing what you can rate badly. You can try really hard, but there's nothing. Also, they offer free shuttle bus from and to the city daily, from 08:00 until 23:00 😃 The jacuzzi is absolutely phenomenal, and if you dive into the water, you will hear beautiful symphony music playing all around underwater ! The indoor pools are also fabulous, and you can book a sauna at reception, free of charge. The breakfast is different level, wow wow wow ! Also, gluten-free options and almond milk on request. They have absolutely everything here and there nothing they would not do for you. My sea view room was spectacular, and i will definitely return in the future if my journey crosses again in Ushuaia as i am going to Antarctica from here. Thank you for our fabulous stay and unforgettable memories. The staff here is incredibly kind, loving, welcoming, and polite.

Definitely the best hotel in Ushuaia. With the best view and SPA with the hot outdoor pool. The rooms are perfect. The breakfast was very good. The only nuance is that we had paid breakfast, but because of very early departure we asked for lunchboxes. First: they charged 23000 pesos for each. We have chosen three types of lunchboxes. Second: all of them were the same by fact — just a simple sandwich with ham and cheese.

Very detail oriented service and the room view is just breathtaking. The pools are very calming and relaxing and worth experiencing. The service was very good and the room service empanada, was the best I've had in this trip. On top of that, the hotel is situated in a reserved, which is perfect for afternoon/evening trekking without having to leave the hotel premise. Just perfect!

GREAT stay! This hotel looks gloomy from the outside but the views from the property are amazing and gorgeous. This hotel really exceeded our expectations. We came with friends and family; we stayed in a lovely junior suite with our two kids. The hotel has a great heated pool which was lovely as it snowed while we were there. There was also a game room for kids and activities for them. We had drinks at the lobby bar, breakfast and dinner at the hotel restaurant. All the experiences were lovely and highly recommend their buffet dinner. We found the food and drinks to be reasonable particularly since there's nothing nearby (we've stayed at other places where they charge ridiculous amounts because of this but not at the Arakur). I had a massage at the spa that was great. We hope to definitely return! The hotel is not near the town but there is a shuttle service to get you dowtown. We hired a driver while there for flexibility. Thanks for a great stay!

After traveling for almost 30 hours, today we got to the hotel in the late afternoon and were told our room would take just 10-20 minutes more to get ready. He kept saying that for two more hours, and gave us nothing to make up for it—not even a cocktail as we sat and waited, exhausted, and not even an apology. The beds are very uncomfortable and hard and it’s 25 minutes from downtown, but if you want to hike there are good trailheads from here. The lobby and the views are gorgeous and the food is good.

I will admit, the rooms are great, beds comfy, infinity pool out of this world but the location sucks, except for a nice view you need the shuttle bus to go anywhere. Also staff are bending over backwards as long as they think you’re spending a ton of money on (crazy expensive) food and drinks but as soon as they find out you don’t, you’re basically a pariah

Google
Swish looking hotel with good facilities, but. too many things aren't right for it to be a 5 star Hotel. ||They can't regulate the temperature in the rooms in a timely way (our room had been set to 28 degrees and we were told it would take 4-5 hours for it to get down to a more comfortable temperature - we changed rooms rather than wait). Our bathroom, and the bathroom of our children's room, intermittently smelled of drains. The water temperature in the showers kept fluctuating - spoiling an otherwise nice shower cubicle. The service in the bar/restaurant was slow and negligent. They excused some of their poor service as lack of staff - although many members of staff were standing around chatting.

The only downside of this hotel is it's much more expensive than I would choose on my own. But we stayed here for the night before a cruise departure, so it was part of that package, and we very much enjoyed our stay! The bed was comfortable, the bathroom and shower were very nice, and the breakfast was good. We really enjoyed the infinity pool, which connected both inside and outside and had amazing views over the town below. I'd definitely recommend it if the price isn't an issue for you.

Yelp
A lovely hotel perched high above Ushuaia in Terre del Fuego Patagonia Argentina with amazing spectacular view of the Beagle channel and the city. We stayed for two nights in late January in a King room (with a view). The room with its hard-wood floors and comfortable bed felt cozy. The bathroom was equipped with rain showers, tub, toilet and bidet plus double sinks. Water and delicious chocolates were provided each day by the friendly housekeeping staff. We ate several meals in the hotel restaurant including two dinners and two breakfasts (an ample buffet was included in our room rate). The food was good but not quite up to the level of our Buenos Aires hotel. The dining room takes full advantage of the view as well. They run a free shuttle service down (and back) to town on a fixed schedule and the hotel has an indoor pool although we were too busy exploring to find or use it. No AC IN THE ROOM but since 50 is a warm day here all you need to do is pop open one of the small windows (as we did) and it's plenty cool for sleeping. Room was technologically up to date but all charging ports were on the small counter under the TV-nothing bedside. Also the free WiFi was a bit pokey but that probably has more to do with the location of the town-you are literally at the southern-most city in the America's and possibly the world here. (Att service around town vacillated between 3G/LTE! Comfortable and cozy.

Yelp
The best resort in Ushuaia. Arakur is modern with beautiful amenities, including and indoor outdoor infinity pool with stunning views of the mountains! The staff are all very friendly and can speak English. I've broken down my review into three sections: Rooms, Spa, and Restaurant ROOMS Extremely clean, beautiful interior design, and very comfortable. I love that the curtains auto-open and I love the touch pad on the wall that controls everything from temperature to alarm clock. The rooms feel like a modern luxury, especially with the gorgeous view. Cleaning service is efficient and fantastic. SPA As mentioned above, the pool area is amazing. The waters are heated to a warm temperature and the outdoor jacuzzis stay very hot. The pools even have music playing underwater! There are also massage and facial services but they require appointments to be booked out at least two days in advance! I was not able to book anything because only one masseuse works per day doing both massages and facials. I could not find a time that worked for me during my stay :( My boyfriend received a massage which he said was just "OK". There are sauna rooms but they require reservations as well. RESTAURANT I've had breakfast, lunch, room service, and dinner at Arakur. All dining is served in a large room with big windows overlooking the town. The free breakfast...I thought was okay. It consists of mostly breads and sweets, but you can order eggs and pancakes from the kitchen. The hot foods are buffet style but I did not eat much from the buffet because I don't think the food is safe - they sit at a lukewarm temperature which is a food safety hazard! The dinner buffet also looks so-so. I recommend ordering a la carte, which is definitely pricey compared to the average in Ushuaia. However, everything a la carte I've ordered (including room service) is delicious and the dinner dishes are plated beautifully. All of the a la carte menus are digital via QR Code and, unfortunately, there are no English menus. However, the servers are all very helpful and the menu is small and manageable. I'm being pretty picky. Overall, I loved my stay at Arakur and highly recommend this resort to anyone looking to reside in a secluded, luxurious environment. The only major negative aspect I can think of is that Arakur is a bit secluded from town. It is about a 15min drive down the hill, which has potholes and can be pretty scary to drive on at night. I recommend taking the free shuttle to and from town. We took an old taxi once, in the middle of the night, and it was pretty...terrifying. I thought we were not going to make it all the way up the hill.

Yelp
Espectacular hotel en Ushuaia! La pileta infinito con vista a la montaña nevada es increíble.

Yelp
Used to be owned by Sheraton, but now owned by the luxury line, LHR, sits perched at the top of the hill overlooking the city with gorgeous costal views and private hiking trails into the forest behind it. The scenery is incomparable, especially when soaking in the infinity hot tubs perched outside on the hill with views of both the mountains and ocean. The lobby is huge with grand fireplaces comfortable couches and luxurious leather seats. The facilities include free access to the gym with great views, a set of computers to access online as well as free wifi throughout (although notable stronger in the lobby and bar than in your room), and of course the hot tubs and indoor pool with a spa that offers a varied of paid services. The hotel is a bit removed from downtown Ushuaia so you'll have to take a taxi to get to a restaurant (though their is quite good) or shop. It also has a few pleasant hiking trails (a viewpoint, a small loop and larger loop) which makes you feel lost in the woods. But fear not, because trusty Daniela, the hotel dog, will guide you down the right path and hike with you plus she is quite friendly. The rooms are newly redone and feature hardwood flooring, lush comfortable beds, automatic curtains, electricity/heating on a touch pad, waterfall shower heads and tubs with windows to see out the room! It's quite gorgeous and maybe one of the most luxurious hotels I've stayed at. The biggest selling point is the infinity hot tubs that feature beautiful views but that can also be enjoyed by the comfort of your own room.

Yelp
Arakur offers upscale accommodation in the southern most city in the world. The hotel is a beautifully perched on a hill, offering sweeping views of the Beagle Channel, snow peaked mountains and and the Ushuaia town. It's a bit far from downtown, almost 30 minutes, but the hotel offers free shuttles to and from downtown every hour or so. The check in process was simple and easy. Concierge service is fantastic! The large bags are taken to your room for you. We stayed in a room with king size bed, and the room faces the mountains. The room itself is quite spacious and the decor is contemporary, just the way I love it. Everything can be operated with the press of a switch from your bed - from opening/closing window curtains, dimming lights in the room, etc. The bathroom is very very neat with contemporary style and accessories. As far as the common area is concerned, the lounge is huge, with many tables and chairs and couches, facing the ocean. Breakfast is included, and the spread is pretty good. They also have a few made to order choices such as omelettes, French toasts, pancakes, etc. Two downsides - The walls are thin and if you have a noisy neighbor, then you'll have a hard time falling asleep - WiFi is free, but it's slow They are popular for their infinity pool, which I didn't use. Overall, it's a fantastic option to stay while visiting Ushuaia and I highly recommend it.

Yelp
Absolutely fabulous! The view over the Channel surrounding the Andes is just spectacular. Service is impeccable. The rooms and accommodations are fantastic. Luxury at the end of the world!

Yelp
This luxurious hotel at the end of the world is fabulous. The rooms are spacious, the dining both in the bar and the restaurant is good, the wine is cheap and delicious. The downstairs spa with outdoor hot tub is not to be missed. We floated in the warm water as a cold wind blew in from the glaciers to the west. Magical. Staff was friendly: arranging transportation, wine around the pool - everything we needed.
