Fantastic location at the edge of an extraordinary pretty village. You can make Tours in a big nature reserve with monkeys, Aras, Crocodiles and Mexico's biggest land mammal: the Tapir. The installations are a bit outdated for the elevated prices, i.e. you have problems paying with cards, have to pay in advance, water not hot etc.

We ate here every day and did a boat trip into the jungle that were both great. All the staff were friendly and helpful even though we weren’t staying here. We stayed at El Retoño just south of here and it was far cheaper for our family of five.

Great spot, super beautiful, worth the price. Saw tons of monkeys and a couple Macas even tho they were out of season. Would definitely go back

The staff is very pleasant but not sure why this place has such great reviews. |We spent ten days on a road-trip around Chiapas and this place was the most expensive and the biggest disappointment in terms of housing. |The grounds left me unimpressed – a bunch of cabañas spread around the lawn, the nicest ones are on the river. |Room is nice enough but way overpriced for what you get (in our case $90 USD before tax). We were in a building that had two separate guest rooms. The building has a high-pitched roof but the interior ceiling at about 8 ft is just a screen – so there is no sound barrier at all between you and the room next door. |Restaurant – which is where you are going to eat if you stay there – is the only game in town. |Ordered drinks with dinner – drinks took 25 minutes to arrive – there was one other couple in the restaurant – but somehow the food took an hour and the food was not great. Waiter who was all by himself looked to be about 12 and about as competent as that suggests. |There is no internet except at the lobby – the internet is solid so why isn’t it an option for those who want it in the rooms? |Two other things to keep in mind – the guacamayas (macaws) themselves are only there June -August, so unless you’re visiting then you’re out of luck. And the river that runs through the property is unswimmable b/c of crocodiles. |There are much better places in Chiapas than this place. |

Beautiful place with very spacious cabanas right along the river. You can watch birds right from the hammock on your private terrace. Didn't see many guacamayas, though, but still had a good stay. Very nice location, friendly staff.

Amazing tours, but HORRIBLY overpriced! The cost of a 3hr jungle walk or boat ride costs more than renting a car for 3 days including fuel.

Really amazing place with good food (better than what you usually get in the jungle region) and great activities. We enjoyed sleeping in the traditional woos buildings with the sound of the jungle around us and being waken up by the howling monkeys. You can see monkeys coming very close to humans, beautiful tropical birds and many more animals.

Incredible !! The place is perfect, you can enjoy nature and animals such as of course Guacamayas but also monkeys, birds... We spent a night in a “cabana” which was really clean. Shared bathroom too (hot water). The team is really friendly and makes great efforts to limit the impact of tourism on the environment. I highly recommend this place.
