Aranwa Paracas Resort & Spa

It was a lovely stay! We went during the off season, so it was very quiet-which we liked. The breakfast was fantastic. The pools were very clean and facilities are well maintained. The location is excellent, very quick walk to everything. I was disappointed that the front desk told us the hours of the sushi restaurant, but it was never actually open. It’s understandable if they couldn’t keep it open with so few guests on site, so they should just communicate that instead of pretending that it’s open. Also the bartender was not friendly..and extremely slow. I only got one margarita the whole stay…it was so bad that I didn’t want anything more from him. The rest of the staff was A+, we especially enjoyed chatting with our waiter Guiller at dinner. Overall, loved our time at Aranwa!

Breakfast was good, but considering that about 85% of guests eat during the last hour, the hotel should have more staff so empty plates can be replaced quickly. This hotel does not operate like a 5-star hotel.||At a 5-star hotel, staff normally ask guests what hot drink they want and offer to prepare omelets or eggs. Here, they don’t ask or offer anything, and guests must stand in line at the coffee machine for 20 minutes just to get a cup of coffee. I find this unacceptable for a hotel that claims to be 5 stars.||There is also no staff around the swimming pool. In a real 5-star resort, someone would be available to take food or drink orders. Here, you don’t see anyone, and if you finally find a staff member and ask for help, they say they will call a colleague—but nobody ever comes. You end up having to walk to the restaurant, order, pay, and carry everything back yourself. This is not how a 5-star hotel should operate.||Room service also charges an additional 15 soles just to bring something to the room.||At the reception, check-in was very rushed. They speak so fast that it’s hard to understand the instructions and how things work.||Another big problem is the pool. There are so many birds coming and going, taking baths in the swimming pool, leaving feathers in the water. No one is cleaning, and no one is doing anything to keep the birds away. Because of this, the water felt dirty in my opinion.

My overall experience at this hotel was excellent, and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting the area. The property is beautiful and very well maintained, with a calm and relaxing atmosphere. The location is ideal if you want to enjoy the nearby reserve — you can easily spend a day exploring and then come back to unwind. It feels peaceful, like a place where you can actually slow down and recharge. The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable. The bed was cozy, and I appreciated that there were a few pillow options. I do like a very dark room for sleeping, and while the curtains did a decent job, they weren’t true blackout curtains. Some light does sneak in around the edges in the morning, which might bother very light sleepers. One area that could be improved is the gym. It was pretty basic and had limited equipment. For someone who likes to keep up with workouts while traveling, it felt a little lacking. A few more machines or free weights would make it much better. Breakfast and dining were very enjoyable. The breakfast spread was plentiful, fresh, and a nice way to start the day before heading out. They had a good variety of options — from eggs and fresh fruit to breads, cereals, and coffee. Service at breakfast was just as excellent as the rest of the hotel. The wait staff was attentive and quick to clear tables, refill coffee, and check in to make sure we had everything we needed. If you decide to eat other meals on-site, the menu had a nice selection and was reasonably priced for the quality. The highlight of the entire stay was the staff. They were warm, welcoming, and incredibly attentive. It almost felt like they could sense when we were about to ask for something — they would be ready before we even approached. Whether it was directions, extra towels, or recommendations for what to do nearby, they were always eager to help and did so with a smile. Aside from the minor things I mentioned — the gym and curtains — everything about the stay was great. Those were just personal pet peeves and didn’t take away from the experience at all. If you’re coming here, be ready to relax, enjoy the peaceful setting, and let the staff take care of you. Spend time in the reserve, enjoy the grounds, and savor the great service. This hotel is more than just a place to stay — it’s a key part of making your trip memorable. I left feeling refreshed and very happy with my choice, and I would definitely return.

The hotel was cute and the staff very friendly , although I wish that the hotel would be better connected to the restaurants down in the nearby village via the beach but it’s not. Luckily we’ve had a car. Other than that I think they need a few more entertainment activities btt it overall I think it was great

My family and I stayed at this resort a few weeks back. The actual place is very nice and clean. Service is good too. However, the staff kept telling us that they will turn the heater for one of their pools and they never did. We stayed at one of the rooms with direct access to the pool and we felt as it was a waste of money as we did not touch the pool. Also due to the weather being somewhat cold, the pool was a major source of entertainment but since it was freezing we felt bored during our stay. Many of the amenities or entertainment were not running (I am guessing due to low season). Not sure if I will try this place again.

We had an amazing stay at Aranwa Paracas Resort & Spa! 🌊✨ The location is breathtaking, with beautiful ocean views that make every moment special. The hotel is modern, spotless, and well-maintained. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and perfectly designed to enjoy the scenery. The resort offers two pools—one temperate—which was perfect for relaxing at any time of the day. The breakfast buffet was outstanding, with a delicious variety of options to start the day right. But what truly made our stay exceptional was the staff. Every single person we interacted with was warm, attentive, and genuinely eager to help, making us feel welcome from start to finish. If you’re looking for comfort, beauty, and excellent service, I highly recommend Aranwa Paracas Resort & Spa. We can’t wait to return! 💙

We stayed at Aranwa Hotel this September 2025 and had a lovely experience. The location is right in front of the sea, with beautiful sunsets and a 10 min walk from the city of Paracas. The rooms are very comfortable and quiet, with pool and beach views. The hotel is very well maintained, with staff always working on the garden, pools, etc. We must provide a review to the food served at the restaurant: the breakfast offered many options (maybe one thing to improve would be to offer more local dishes) and the dinners at Veranda Restaurant were absolutely amazing! Very good offer and price (especially when compared to the options in the city of Paracas). We can definitely recommend the Polpo Olivado and the Conchas :) A special thank you and appreciation goes to Elias and Diego, the staff serving and helping us during our visits to the restaurant. Very very nice and helpful people :) The one thing we believe could be improved is the gym - we have done a small training while staying at the hotel and the equipment offer is not wide. Maybe adding some extra equipment would be of benefit! Overall, and apart from that, our stay was really lovely. Another big plus of this hotel is the list of activities that the guests can take during their stay. And besides that, a big compliment to the staff in general that were very helpful and friendly during our stay :)
