We were a group of 10 people. Had great Gulash and Schnitzel, good wine. Salads could use some upgrade. The place is very close to main sightseeing spot, yet not overcrowded. Service is very traditional old style: old guy the owner i guess and a couple of middle aged male waiters. Still they could manage in English. Nice little spot worth a visit.

This is the most famous wild food restaurant in Budapest. Very good service, good food, beautiful setting. Boar dishes are exceptional. So are the Gundel chocolate pancakes. Recommended! It is strange that evening dining is not popular at the moment.

Very cool establishment. Delicious food, friendly staff, excellent service. Spent time with the company, got great pleasure. Marked for myself as a place where you can come and spend time with friends or two. Special thanks for taking care of the dog. Grade 5+. I recommend to visit.

The restaurant is beautiful and tidy, with very friendly staff. The food deserves a perfect ten. What matters most to me is that it’s not crowded. I visited it twice during my stay in Budapest. Highly recommended!

Good view and shadow for hot days. However they would warn you that card payments are only from 3000 , if less - cash only. On the receipt that you are getting, there is no cost of products you have bought - only a final cost.

Nice restaurant but it was rather quiet when we were there for lunch. Was skeptical about the lack of customers there but food, beer, dessert and service were rather good. We sat outside with a nice view of the castle.

An OK experience overall . Would highly recommend the wild boar goulash soup. The service was really nice and stuff was friendly . We were even offered free bread . But , the receipt was just a piece of paper with a list of what we ordered plus 2200 Fr for "service" (we were 4 people). Prices were average , this goulash wild boar soup costed 1900 Ft.
It's a nice place to eat , if you are passing by, but i wouldn't travel across the city just to eat there.
