We stayed with my family on December 30th and 31st. We had two different types of rooms. The room allocated for my family had a heating problem. They brought an electric heater. I think that rooms should be thoroughly checked before being given to guests, especially during peak times. Because when you want to make changes, it's not possible due to the high occupancy, and consequently, the accommodation doesn't meet expectations. Sitting in the lobby cafe is not comfortable due to the revolving door. Due to the city's climate, the wind pressure is high. The winter cold is well-known. The building has very high ceilings. A revolving door alone is not enough. A revolving door + a second door inside and a pressure-controlled entrance hall are needed. Perhaps an air curtain in between would be the simplest solution. Cold air is heavier than warm air, and due to the high ceiling, warm air escapes upwards. A vacuum forms below. As a result, even if the door doesn't rotate, wind is drawn in. I have visited several other five-star hotels in both Moscow and St. Petersburg. Due to the cold weather, the entrances were as I described. I think you should report this engineering flaw to your relevant department. Finally, we contacted the hotel's concierge department to arrange a city tour. They gave us a list. We agreed to the price listed for four people. However, when we wanted to make arrangements, they quoted a higher price, citing New Year's, etc. They should have provided accurate information from the start. At the spa, my family requested coffee, and they wouldn't give it to them without payment. Even though the hotel's spa is a separate business, it's very off-putting that they wouldn't provide coffee when they had it booked in their room. My family had to call me and bring the money before they finally gave them the coffee. This shouldn't happen. These are things that a five-star hotel urgently needs to fix.
On the positive side, the breakfast was fantastic. Every item was carefully selected and presented. The rooms are technologically comfortable. The bathrooms are spacious. The single-pane windows, without frames or profiles, create a feeling of spaciousness.
Thank you for the breakfast, the view, location and the technology..
