Great place for road trip specially during monsoons. Kumbalgarh Fort (which has boundary wall similar to that if great Wall of China) and jain temple is worth watching. Govt seems to be least bothered in saving these sites. Prefer a homestay rather than a hotel to actually enjoy the nature. The locals know far more than the guides about places to see. If you choose to stay with locals they will make you experience the life of local tribes as well. Good local food will be served at their house without a question.

The Aravalli Range, located in western India, is a mesmerizing geographical feature that spans across the states of Gujarat, Rajasthan, Haryana, and Delhi. Stretching over 800 miles, this ancient mountain range is a treasure trove of natural wonders, historical sites, and cultural significance. Let's embark on a virtual journey through the Aravalli Range and explore its diverse offerings. Starting from the southernmost point, the Aravalli Range greets us with its majestic peaks and lush greenery. The landscape is dotted with dense forests, sparkling rivers, and cascading waterfalls, making it a haven for nature enthusiasts and adventure seekers. Trekkers can embark on thrilling trails, encountering breathtaking vistas and encountering wildlife along the way. The range is also home to several wildlife sanctuaries and national parks, providing a safe habitat for species like leopards, hyenas, and sloth bears. One of the most notable attractions within the Aravalli Range is the Mount Abu hill station. Located in Rajasthan, this picturesque retreat offers respite from the scorching desert heat. With its cool climate, pristine lakes, and tranquil temples, Mount Abu provides a perfect escape for those seeking serenity and spirituality. The famous Dilwara Temples, known for their intricate marble carvings, are a testament to the rich cultural heritage of the region. Moving northward, the Aravalli Range unfolds its historical tapestry. The region is studded with ancient forts and palaces that bear witness to the glorious past of Rajasthan. Kumbhalgarh Fort, nestled amidst the Aravalli hills, stands as a symbol of Rajput valor and grandeur. Its imposing walls, stretching over 22 miles, enclose a vibrant complex of temples, palaces, and step wells. Further along the range, we encounter the magnificent city of Udaipur, often referred to as the "Venice of the East." The city's stunning lakes, including Lake Pichola and Fateh Sagar Lake, offer captivating boat rides and picturesque views of palaces and havelis that adorn their shores. The City Palace, perched on a hill overlooking Lake Pichola, showcases a fusion of Rajasthani and Mughal architecture and houses a museum displaying royal artifacts. As we continue our journey, we reach the state of Haryana, where the Aravalli Range's beauty takes on a different form. The region is characterized by picturesque valleys and gurgling streams, providing a refreshing contrast to the arid landscapes of Rajasthan. Surajkund, a natural reservoir nestled in the Aravalli hills, is a popular picnic spot and hosts an annual crafts fair showcasing traditional Indian art and crafts. Finally, we arrive at the outskirts of Delhi, where the Aravalli Range offers a much-needed respite from the bustling city life. The Asola Bhatti Wildlife Sanctuary, spread over 6,800 acres, provides a green lung to the national capital region. Visitors can explore its trails, encounter a variety of bird species, and revel in the tranquility of nature, all within reach of the city's hustle and bustle. In conclusion, the Aravalli Range is a diverse and captivating destination that caters to the interests of nature lovers, history buffs, and culture enthusiasts alike. Its sprawling landscapes, ancient forts, and serene lakes create an enchanting tapestry that is waiting to be explored. Whether you seek adventure, spirituality, or a peaceful retreat, the Aravalli Range will leave an indelible mark on your senses and offer an unforgettable experience Follow me on Instagram @medico.trick
