Arawak Bay Inn

The employees are the best! They were great at providing breakfast & very helpful! As well as Super friendly! The third floor balcony is the best spot for sitting in one of the rocking chairs while enjoying a cup of coffee while enjoying the gorgeous view! Our room was always kept clean, as were our bedsheets. We had clean towels brought to our room on a daily basis. There isn't much to walk to from this location, but it was always quiet & the area is safe. The only negative for this place are the mattresses. Our mattress had quite the character about it. The springs were poking through & squeaky. Overall, I recommend this bed & breakfast for the view, the employees & the overall ambiance.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Off the beaten path so we didn't deal with much traffic or lights at night obscuring the open sky. Amazing views from the second floor. Monica was so friendly and her breakfasts were a great way to start the day. Less than 20 minutes drive to most places we explored, definitely recommend renting a car for your stay, easy access to both towns. We had a large group and felt right at home here.

Lovely bed & breakfast. Beautifully designed building with cozy sitting areas, a pool with a small bar, and air conditioned rooms with amazing views of the ocean from the balcony. Beautifully decorated with details you will continue to notice throughout your stay. The breakfast served in the mornings was delicious and a wonderful way to start the day. The owners are wonderful hosts with amazing life stories. Can't wait to stay there again on the next trip to St. Croix!

The staff was very friendly and treated us like family. They were sweet and accommodating. The rooms were clean and we just had the BEST time here. I got a little sick from travel and sun the second day and they were so kind, suggesting remedies and offering to bring up food and medicine and check on me while my husband was working. They left me in peace to sleep it off and the next day called to make sure they wouldn't disturb me by coming up to clean. Suggested a great grill to us and chatted with the owner, Jennifer, for a while. Honestly best hotel experience I've had to date, both on and off the island. Would recommend to everyone! I was sad to leave.

I will never be able to say enough about how wonderful this place and their amazing staff is. Monica and her staff saved us from sleeping in an airport following a cancelled flight. The grounds are beautiful, the staff is amazingly kind, the views are breathtaking. Wifi, pool, grills, breakfast, clean rooms, comfortable beds, and VERY centrally located (you need a car on the island no matter what).

Stayed here for a night after a flight cancellation and had a wonderful experience! The room was no frills but very clean! The woman working at the front desk was extremely accommodating and even made a lovely breakfast. Great value, but would recommend having a rental car to access nearby beaches and restaurants.

Such a good friendly environment! The owners are so helpful an serve a good break! They helped find places to go am even took my husband to go pick up our rental car. The staff is amazing always making sure your doing good an really make you feel like family. Pool wasn't bad either. Really good view off the balcony. Couldn't be more happy with the location an staff!

Attempted to stay the weekend for my daughter's birthday. Communication is very fuzzy and the relay of information isn't accurate. I didn't find the front desk person to be very warm and welcoming. The kids enjoyed the pool and the view is lovely but we cut our stay short. There is no cell phone reception and the telephone in the room didn't work. We weren't able to make phone calls without having to leave the premises. Be sure to walk with your own blow dryer but the roaches are friendly. They come out to say hello. I don't think I would stay again.

I was excited for my vacation only to be welcomed with a dirty hotel room filled with cockroaches by my bedside and in the bathroom....Not to mention, the smell from the toilet and sink was horrendous! The water in the pool was also yellow. Food looked nothing like the website photos. I gave it a few days, but I couldn't do it. Switched hotels to save my trip from filth and misery. This place is tacky and poorly managed. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone interested in a nice and relaxing vacation!!!

Really nice place. Has a bed and breakfast feel to it. Nice hometown feel to it. Nothing crazy fancy. The guy was really nice at check in. AT&T and Verizon don't have service out here. The salty bay national preserve and ecological area is within walking distance. Nice escape for a night in area. Room was comfortable and clean. Porch was really nice.

Just another fine stay at the Arawak Bay Inn. This is my 5th visit in 4 years. Great to see Lionel and Jennifer at every stay. They are both getting to be like old friends to us and all the returning guests. I enjoy the breakfasts that are available every morning cooked by either Lionel or Jennifer. Still a nice quiet inn on the North Shore of STX. With nice ocean views from the rooms. Close to Salt River and Cane Bay.

I plan on staying at Arawak every time I visit STX. As others have mentioned Arawak is a nice clean and quiet inn on the North Shore. The view is spectacular. Lionel and Jennifer are great hosts and made me feel at home. My favorite memory from the last stay was sitting at their kitchen table laughing and chatting as Lionel made pancakes for breakfast, it truly felt as if we were part of the family.

Had an amazing experience in St.Croix and my stay here was a huge part of it! Jennifer and Lionel are amazing hosts and go above and beyond for their guests. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well kept. Beautiful view from the top rooms' balconies. The pool/bar area is a great place to hang out and relax. The food was great and the staff was very accommodating for food preference and/or allergies. The inn is a short distance from some good restaurants as well as the beach. If you plan on visiting St.Croix, I highly recommend staying with Jennifer, Lionel, and their awesome staff!

Fantastic service! Super staff. Really liked that there was aloe available. Rooms are comfortable, beds are awesome. Breakfast was always good, and quite varied.
