Drawback are the lack of kitchen and earlier than usual check in cut off time. Our room on the attic level is very cozy, so is the bathroom. The whole house is well decorated.

It's main problem was that even though it stated it had a kitchen, no sink or stoves in there, just a coffee machine, boiler and some table spoons. So, to prepare something as simple as noodles or tea, you need to walk up and downstairs, just to fill water from the toilet sink. The parking had space for only three cars as some stated and the host was not even interested in helping you. Still, the decoration of the whole area was pretty nice. Be well prepared of the water problem if you plan to stay for more than 2 days!!

Excellent experience. We had to leave super early before a proper breakfast time. The woman checking us in offered to get breakfast for us that night, and leave it in the fridge. She knew we had a full day of driving ahead of us, 8-9 hours with few stops. The meal was life-giving. She prepared us not only breakfast foods (bananas, yogurt, eggs, cereal and milk) but also enough that we could make lunch (several types of bread, butter, spread cheese, cheese slices, meat, fresh vegetables). I’m not sure if this is standard or should be expected by anyone in the future, but it was a very kind thing for us and was greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Amazing stay in Husavik. Rooms are very cozy. Host is very nice. I recommend this place.

Rooms and other areas are very clean, nice sortiment of teas and even though we haven't breakfast included we got fruit in the morning. But the lady on the reception which gave us key wasn't really nice and warm as supposed. And the cleaner baricade a half of toilets as soon as the check out hours end (mabye she doesn't wanna clean it all later?) It's just really non-professional behaviour and seems like benting rules. It's nice that they have free dog treat place outside, that's very kind of them.

This is such a lovely guesthouse, I highly recommend it! If you like to be close to the bathroom, make sure to request a room on the upper floor though, as there is no restroom downstairs. The restaurant across the street is absolutely divine!

An absolute hidden gem right in the heart of Húsavík owned by a lovely, very kind hearted couple who do their best to make sure you are well looked after and have a relaxing unforgettable stay. They were very kind to accommodate me with an early check in, help me with my heavy luggage and drop me off and pick me up from GeoSea. I highly recommend this accommodation. The moment you step in, it smells so good, everything is so clean, such attention to details everywhere you look, very cute and cosy. 🥰😍👌🏻 Thank you so much Sirilin and husband for making my stay ever so amazing and perfect! 🙏🏻 I really could stay longer!

Wonderful guesthouse, the best place I stayed during my 2 weeks in Iceland. The host was friendly and super helpful with questions. The premises were spotless and comfortable. Great communication with guests regarding booking and stay. I'd definitely recommend this place to anybody. Family friendly.
