Arbour Café & Courtyard

I can’t thank Larry and the team at Arbour Cafe & Courtyard enough for the incredible effort they put into making our wedding rehearsal dinner an absolute dream. We are from Australia so we were nervous to book given we have never been to the area, They made it incredibly easy to book the venue with their efficient communication, they tailored the menu perfectly for our group, the setting was stunning and their service amazing. 6 months on and ourselves and our guests still talk about their delicious meals and amazing service. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, we can’t wait to come visit when we return to South Africa 😊

Great place to pop in for breakfast. Super service and yummy food, all in a very chilled setting.

Reservations were made, and luckily so as it was extremely busy. We sat in the courtyard and it was extremely noisy due to the large groups in attendance. Service was, prompt, tentative and friendly. Food was average. Rather pricey for portion sizes. Sourdough toast was hard (as if it was toasted twice)but we were given fresh toast when we asked.The vegetarians were happy as they had options to choose from. Parking is in the street so can be difficult to find.

Food amazing, service thoughtful and atmosphere is neighborly. When looking for a place that values their clients and it reflects on all round experience then this is a benchmark. Doesn’t look busy from the outside but it is buzzing with activity. Quaint courtyard or undercover patio. It is all good. Clearly the locals agree. Burgers for breakfast! Let’s go.

We were greeted by no one upon entering and not having the faintest idea on where to go. We literally had to ask and showed ourselves to our booked table. Already first impressions was out the window and our first mistakes was to stay and try the food. The food was just as bad as the service and don’t even get me started with atmosphere and the noise. Has a lot of potential to be an amazing restaurant and “French inspired” is not on based on the food but rather the look. Definitely won’t be coming back.

From the moment we stepped into Arbour Café & Courtyard, we were immediately embraced by the warm and welcoming atmosphere that this hidden gem provides. The inviting courtyard setting served as the perfect backdrop for a breakfast experience that was simply unparalleled. The staff were not only friendly and attentive, but they also displayed a level of professionalism that added to the overall high-quality experience. The highlight of our visit, however, was without a doubt the breakfast. Every dish we tried was a testament to the culinary expertise at Arbour Café. The blend of flavors was an absolute delight, each bite revealing a new layer of complexity that left us yearning for more. The use of fresh, high-quality ingredients was clear, adding an extra dimension of enjoyment to our meal. This breakfast experience at Arbour Café & Courtyard has set a new standard for us, one that will be hard to beat. Five stars well deserved!

We were guests at a wedding. It was a very rainy day. Management went out of their way to do what they can to keep everyone dry and comfy. Food was really great and service too.

What a beautiful and tranquil space, thoughtfully designed, great coffee and amazing food, decent wine selection too. The courtyard is the perfect remote work space and its central yet hidden location feels like a hidden gem. Will be going back very soon
