Location is excellent, right up the road from the entrance to the National Park and Beach, and decent restaurant options are also within walking distance. Cabins are rustic, but fantastic with small cooktop, fridge, and basic cooking supplies available. All cabins now all appear to have air conditioning in the bedroom areas, which is a nice bonus. Pool is refreshing for a morning or afternoon swim, and Staff are very kind and accommodating. We have now stayed here three times, over two separate trips, and we plan to return. I cannot recommend Arboura enough!

We stayed here for 4 nights and truly enjoyed the jungle experience! We loved having a sloth and monkeys in the trees right next to (or even above) our cabin. There were also small geckos, crabs, and frogs around, adding to the charm. The swimming pool and ping-pong table were great for unwinding after sunset. The beautiful beach is just a 5-minute walk away, with a $6 entrance fee that is absolutely worth it. In fact, we found Uvita Beach even more stunning and far less crowded than the one at Manuel Antonio Park. We stayed in rustic cabin number 5, which was perfect as it’s the last one, offering a wonderful view of the jungle right outside our windows. The owners were incredibly helpful, providing us with plenty of information about local attractions like waterfalls, tide schedules, and dining recommendations. The location was convenient, with the beach, restaurants, bars, and sodas all within walking distance. Laundry service on the property, fresh towels when need it, free bikes and three hot showers next to the swimming pool was very useful (not sand at the cabin, kids took a shower when we back right from the beach).

It’s a great atmosphere with a lovely swimming pool and ping pong table. It would be a great place for families. The location is great, located 2 blocks from the beach (you must pay $7 because it is a national park, although there is an unmarked entrance a bit farther down the road that seemed to be free…) The best restaurants nearby are Kinsu, Nativo, and El Hornito, all super close and delicious. Cabins have their own screened-in porch and kitchenette stocked with pots, utensils, and a mini-fridge. Cabins have their own bathrooms, though for a hot (warm) shower you will need to use the communal showers. The one in the cabin is cold only. The bedroom in the cabin has a well functioning air conditioner that we were very grateful for. They offer laundry for $12, though the info we received through air bnb said $10 and that the service included folding, which it apparently didn’t, so our stuff got very wrinkly by the time we got back and found it sitting at the front. I also didn’t give it 5 stars because there was mold completely covering a picture frame in our bathroom and a little mold on the bedroom trim where it shared a wall with the bathroom. Also, I asked the hosts twice for blankets via WhatsApp messenger and they responded to my other questions but never responded about blankets. I was so cold with only a sheet because my friend insisted on using the AC. Some loud music and other sounds at night made it hard to sleep some nights. Parking was very tight but we usually found a spot in the lot (sometimes having to park outside the locked gate).

Great, quiet spot very close to a beautiful beach. The cabins are well-equipped and the pool is regularly maintained. Ovi and Natalia are super responsive throughout the day. Nice touch to provide free bicycle to get around town. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

What a beautiful place. Surrounded by beautiful nature and the tiny house is beautiful. Perfectly located just behind the beach and everyone was so friendly. Loved it!!!

We loved the place, it is filled with plant, trees and nature. The pool is always clean. you hear the howler monkeys at night. There are few places to eat around. There is not much to do close by, but it makes a fantastic place to relax.||No windows, only screens. Very rustic, but this is what we loved

We stayed in cabin 2 which was very nice, two fans provided which kept us cool during days and night. Kitchen unit was equipped with everything needed to cook breakfast and dinner. Lovely beach 5 minute walk away and hostel pool was also refreshing. Very in the middle of nature and saw some monkeys from the bedroom. Host was also understanding about moving dates free of charge.

We booked 2 cabins, 2 months in advance. On the day of our arrival the owner/manager cancelled our booking saying they had made a mistake and overbooked. She told us she had sent an email a week earlier through our online agent but we did not receive it. In the end we managed to get one night in one cabin as an emergency backstop. Really not impressed. Poor business administration means that families like ours are left stressed and in difficulty (during a busy national holiday week) trying to find an alternative on the day. The issue of poor admin was emphasised further by the fact that the rooms were STILL being shown available when they weren't. The cabin we stayed in was rustic but OK and in a good location for the surf. The owner/manager was not friendly (or customer orientated) and was rather rude when I remonstrated with her about the above (something I can see in her responses to other low scoring reviews). The beds were not good. Very cheap mattresses, polyester sheets which kept sliding off the bed when you rolled over and almost non-existent tiny pillows. All of which could be easily remedied at marginal cost with some thought.
