Awesome location, air con was fabulous. It was quiet. Our bathroom window was broken and you could have fit your arm through, asked the fella to put some duct tape over the gap but by 9 pm nothing was done so we did it ourselves. It was a very basic room, older style. The bathroom could do with a bloody good scrub, we had a centipede in the bed under the sheets. The bedding coverlets were stained, not recent stains by the looks of it but just old. The pool was great. I think next time we will spend a bit more for something nicer. It looks like renovations were also being done around the place, grounds super tidy.

The location was amazing so handy having the reason for our stay a 1 minute walk from the room. They were great moving dates for us because of the recent weather 2weeks ago. Once we arrived everything looked fine as a quick drop bags off and off to the event. We booked 2 rooms close (we have 3 children with us) we were placed into seperate buildings to our kids. Our room had mould (photos attached) I woke up to my nose in this pillow (my husbands pillow). We proceeded to go settle our kids in and the smell of mould was strong in the carpet of the room. (Hubby said he could see the mould on the carpet) we looked out onto their balcony to see cigarette butts on the floor. Real shame to come home from a magical holiday sick.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We loved our stay at Arcadia Village Motel! It’s perfect for families with a great location—just a few steps to the pub, the beautiful Alma Bay, bush walks, wallabies and so much more. The rooms and beds were very comfortable, with views of the ocean and wonderful pool area. The atmosphere was so relaxed and the staff were lovely. We can’t wait to be back! Thank you for having us!

Amazing location but complete cat fish from the images. The room looked like it hadn’t been cleaned, the TV didn’t work. There wasn’t even hand soap in the bathroom, or any toiletries. The door handle in the bathroom was held on by duct tape. No one was there when we arrived at 3pm, they didn’t answer the phone and then eventually text to say the key was in the Dropbox. We didn’t see a single member of staff in the 24 hours we were there.

We were on the island for a family illness. The staff were so welcoming, and always checking that everything was alright, they were amazing. Right next to the hotel, no noise after 10pm.

Location was great but no staff to speak of. The TV did not work. The air-conditioner was well over due for a clean. No spare toilet paper and a near empty roll. Duct tape holding the bathroom door together . The freezer was frozen over and fridge was not clean. No cold water in the fridge. $185 a night is over priced for a run down unit.

Tried phoning management multiple times over the booking and didn’t get an answer. The coffee cups were dirty/smelt rank, no soap, rusty toaster, the smell was like Jeffrey Dahmer may have once lived here. The sheets appeared not to have been washed and the floors were sticky. The furniture was dated and run down. It’s such a shame because the view is lovely and the hotel next door is good. It desperately needs upgrading.

Absolutely terrible service and behaviour from management. They hide behind a mobile and text rather than address and fix what was major issues. First time I come I went into my room only to find someone else had eaten off plates and has a shower there, had to wait while they cleaned my room.....things happen, so decided to give then another go. Worst choice ever. I agree with all the other reviews of staff never being available, they provide an emergency mobile number but can't address any emergencies. Turned our shower on for the first time and had this God awful hammering, then the shower wouldn't turn off, toilet leaking all over the floor along with the shower running at a crazy rate and flooding the floor. My choices were to leave or deal with it. They took 2 hrs before even responding to my urgent text until nearly 5pm and then decided they couldn't get a plumber. So at 6pm I'm out the door with 2 children and no place to stay...I have reported this motel and based on very common reviews and taking money for an uninhabitable room they will be lucky to stay functioning. This is why we have consumer laws
