We had the smaller of the 2 tasting menus, which was more the enough. In this restaurant you will get great food with a lot of personal attention. Shortly after you enter and had something to drink the owner/chef sits down at you table to hear what you like and don't like, and then makes suggestions and adjusts the menu to your taste. During dinner he regularly walks through the restaurant so you can ask him about the food when you want. The menu is traditional Spanish with a modern twist. Price, including for the wine , is on the high end but more then reasonable for the quality of food and wine served.

I personally love this place. The food and the service are very good. Most importantly, Chef Iñaki cares A LOT about his guests. He would come over, greets you in person, and asks for your opinion about the food. I appreciate this wholeheartedly and I recommend this place to everyone who would love to have a great meal in a tranquil setting.

Fantastic spanish cusine in Madrid. I can say one of best retaurant in Madrid. Chef come to you and get order by himself and recommend you the special day menu and even wine. It was special experience and feel like being treated well in this restaurant. Super perfect food and time.

The most extraordinary experience In a restaurant with no Michelin Stars that I never seen. The Chef Iñaki Is the best human, with a great heart. He loves his job and he transmit that feelings to all customers. The food is amazing. The prices are very accurate in comparison with the portions that they serve. You cannot travel to Madrid and no visit Arce restaurant.

What a find! This was so good that we agreed to fly back to Madrid just to return for another great dinner. 10 of us at the table and all of us getting personal service from the chef who sat at the table and described the food and helped us choose dishes which could be altered to suit our tastes and appetites. The food was excellent and the wines were delicious. A really wonderful experience.

The best restaurant in Madrid. Perfect food, perfect experience, perfect wine. Make sure the chef comes and explains the menu to you. Such a nice dining place with amazing ambience, intelligent playing and awesome food, local but with a twist. A must visit for a romantic / casual dinner. I want to eat there every day. Enjoy !

Amazing!!!!!!! I have been here a couple of times and everytime is a new discovery,a little journey trought food. You feel like home ,the chef is very kind and explains you every plate,I am vegan and nevertheless the chef managed to make my food experience amazing!!!! I suggest this place to every person that visits madrid is a food institution! It gets better and better every time!

What an exceptional experience! We followed Google Maps recommendation and had a tremendous evening in early October. Amazing food in exactely the right portions and with delicious wine - all as recommended by the chef, and communicated in a super friendly, attentive, smart manner!

For my 2500th review I chose this one. We were invited to dinner here by a friend who has been coming here for almost a decade. It's a 30 seat restaurant with white table cloth and multi course menu. We were greeted by the head chef when we arrived and he sat down with us and discussed what we like or don't like. He then went onto serve us a meal tailored to each persons taste. They served us a few different courses and the food was really nice. We had the house wine which was also very nice. The chef recommended we try the house wine and we all enjoyed it. My favourite dish of the evening was the tuna tartare which was delicious. The iberico pork main cooked in a salt crust was also very nice and tasty. The house smoked meats sliced thinly were also very nice. If you like this personalized approach you will like it here. The chef speaks some English and some French as well. Of course his descriptions are best in Spanish and he is quite a funny character. All in all a very pleasant evening and we all enjoyed our meal.

This restaurant is a gem and a must to visit when you are in Madrid. The chef, Ignacio, sits with each table and works to deliver a unique dining experience. He succeeds.

Just excellent. Creative cuisine with a very personal touch of its chef, a wise man of elegant manners that comes to say hi to the tables, and seems really interested on people's opinions. The place could be nicer from the outside though it is nice and noisy inside.

My wife and I had an excellent 5 Star experience at Arce. The Chef/owner was very gracious and the food was fantastic. We highly recommend this restaurant.

One of the best dinners I have ever had. The Chef meets you and reviews the menu to determine what are your tastes for the evening. He hit a home run for all in our party.

If you are looking for a "dining experience" look no further than Arce. I went here for lunch, which ended up being a 10 course chef's tasting menu. The clientele was mostly business men at power lunches, but the restaurant is bright and full of light. It is situated on Calle augusto figueroa (also known as shoe mecca) so I highly recommend working up an appetite shoe shopping and then stopping here to fill yourself silly after.

My wife and I came to Madrid to visit my daughter studying abroad. She's a vegetarian. The Luna de Octubre celebration was in full swing and we had difficult time finding a place for dinner. Then we found Arce. Chef greeted us on arrival then came to table with menus. He sat down asked us about are appetites, food likes and dislikes. We then had a 4 course meal that was delicioso. Our server Pablo was very attentive. Highly recommend Arce.

Don't visit Madrid without spending an evening with fantastic food in a great non pretentious setting. This is as good as a dining experience gets and the personal touch of the chef makes you feel as if you're dining in a local's private living rom
