Absolutely awful hotel arrived yesterday told there was a bus every hour to town nothing arrived. Also told taxi was easy to get home..no taxi available 12k walk home in the rain. Rooms very basic load people shouting in the corridor at 06:00 in the morning and slamming bedroom doors. Breakfast was terrible just stale bread and the waiter was very rude. Went somewhere else after one night never go back here again staff were terrible, shouldn’t be in hospitality industry

Horrendous hotel. Very rude staff especially those serving the poor breakfast of old bread and cakes. No soft close doors. Hikers slamming bedroom doors from 6am onwards and shouting to each other in the corridor. Rooms are tired. Unable to fill the basin for a shave as no plug in the sink or bath. No kettle facilities to make a tea or coffee. Hotel was that bad that I left after 1 night instead of after the 2nd night.

The room was a disgrace. Lights not working , bathroom door without a handle, cobwebs galore in the lights, stained bathtub and shower that sprayed in all directions. Broken bed legs that needed pushing back in place .. great location and staff friendly Desperate need of a major refurb and why the lobby is decorated like a 1970’s grandma home with mismatched sofas (that are stained) is just odd

Before we got to this hotel we read what was the most recent review which referred to an issue with fleas - we were on a group trek of The Picos with no options to change hotel. We are very glad we didn’t - the beds were spotless like the whole hotel. The staff couldn’t do enough for us including organising a last minute request regarding an anniversary celebration which couldn’t have been v straightforward! Food is very good also.

This Hotel has very basic accomodation, and the restaurant food was very poor. In fact the worst we've had in the 3 weeks we have been travelling across Northern Spain.|Breakfast was almost exclusively just carbs i.e. bread. There was no fruit/yogurt, except orange juice.|We had notified the Hotel in advance of a special, but very common, dietary requirement, but other than on a single occasion, this was ignored with no alternative food being offered. The customer service was non existent.|The Hotel trades purely on its location, as if there was any competition to speak of it would very quickly go out of business.|Depressing!|

Incredible location. Comfy enough bed, good staff, good restaurant on site. Don’t worry about the lack of parking, they have 5 spots and plenty on the street right in front. Perfect launch spot or end spot for the best hike of my lifetime. There are three hotels in town and this one is the Goldilocks of them all. Location, food, comfort. Enjoy

Basic rooms but nice and clean. Friendly service. Generous portions served for dinner, perfect after a days hiking.
