This is an extremely well constructed exhibition centre and everything is very high quality. Sadly there is little detail about the sites. What text there is is difficult to read because of the lighting which is designed to look artistic, rather than to be easily read. The site is fantastic but a small investment in the practicalities would make it even better.

If you are an Archeology Buff, this is a must see. We stumbled across it. Free access and does not take much time to visit the three locations. Wish they would open up more in the tombs, but the museum is still interesting and summarizes the history.

Not to be missed. And the information centre is magnificent also. Free but tickets issued, presumably to control numbers.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The Archaeological Dolmens of Antequera is an absolute gem! The ancient stone structures are amazing, and the site's historical significance is truly captivating. Walking through the dolmens felt like stepping back in time. The surrounding landscape is beautiful, adding to the magical atmosphere. The information provided was insightful, making the experience even more enriching. A must-visit for history lovers and anyone looking to connect with the past. Highly recommend!

This site contains enormous dolmens (megalithic tombs) built between approximately 3,700 and 2,000 BCE, during the Neolithic and Bronze Ages. It is considered one of the most significant prehistoric sites in Europe. The dolmens harmonize with Antequera’s natural landscape and uniquely reflect prehistoric humans' architectural skills and cosmological beliefs. Visitors can learn more details at the Interpretation Center.

An extraordinary place, it is important to watch the video before going to the Dolmen to understand the construction process and its meaning. The Visitor Center area is newly built and still lacks exhibition areas. The staff is very attentive and makes the visit very pleasant.
