We loved it. Small and compact with some exceptional pieces. Staff were very friendly.

Poorly maintained and orginized. Cataloging and descriptions not there. Sure the Greek ministry of Antiquities can do better

Google
Brilliant little museum that houses much of the findings from the palace of Nestor and the surrounding area Easy to find and parking was fine, l understand they are shortly moving to new premises but the 2 Euro entrance fee is a bargain The only downer are the typed descriptions simply saying where and time zone - for the not clued up that is nonsense and will turn folk away It was wonderful to see linear B script for real, so worth visiting

Very useful for background information to palace of Nestor. Would be great to have more info on what the Tholos tombs were like and who was buried there, also photos of the human remains. I liked the interactive board and it was fascinating to see conservationists actually working before our eyes. Quiet when we were there apart from children on a school trip.
