Interesting sculptures only on the first floor! Some of the works are really interesting and well-displayed (it's a pity that they are not protected). The other floors seem to have been added for volume... In any case, I'm really glad that I visited this museum 👍🏻

Three floors of history in Croatia from the start 2500bc. Start on the 3rd floor and work your way down. Small museums on each floor, but very interesting with stories & artifacts, the 2nd floor for me was the best as ive always bee interested in Roman times, the artifacts are very interesting and tell the life in Zadar, Diklo & Nin. €7 entry, (cash only), there are also small plaques on the side of each board next to every artifacts that gives you information of each item, I noticed a lot of people were missing them.

Waited in here for a storm to pass over but we enjoyed being able to view some nice artifacts on the ground floor without having to pay.

Very interesting exhibition. They renovated part about ancient Rome times (Antika), I hope the plan to do the same to the rest of the exhibition. "Antika" exhibition should be more about Zadar in Roman Empire, and less about Roman Empire in general. Several times the most interesting information connected to Zadar and/or the exhibits from Zadar were given on a very small, side labels.

Very interesting and well organized and explained, there are many well- preserved items that are absolutely worth seeing, among them statues and inscriptions, tiles, etc, but especially the quality of some personal objects on display such as precious jewellery, pottery, combs etc is unique. It is quite small but a good visit will take at least an hour.

Nice museum, done in the old way of performing exhibitions. No elevator, so visiting with a small baby can be a challenge. One toilet if I'm not mistaken, questionable cleaned. The exhibition itself is nice, shows the tools, jewellery, parts of clothes, vessels and more from ancient times. However nothing unique I'm afraid. Good to take a walk (1 hour will be enough) to get some rest in a hot day.

Small but interesting museum, provides plenty knowledge about ancient Dalmatian history and culture. Most display with English text, very friendly to foregin tourists. The museum shop has surprisingly attractive items, but sadly is cash-only.

Interesting, but €7 for not many things. No student discount or otherwise. I like the buffoons the most.
