Terrace of the lions Λέοντες των Ναξίων is one of the most unique archaeological sites in the Greek islands! It is a pretty big island with a lot of unique stone sculptures and buildings throughout it. You could spend hours here looking around and learning all the great unique history of the site. The ferry ride over to the island takes a good amount of time to get there. There is a great amount of architectural design and Engineering throughout the ruins. It has a very beautiful view of the ocean. It's amazing how they had preserved what is left and presented it in a really good way to bring back the past. It must have been a very beautiful city back in the day when it was first built. It is definitely a must to visit when you are in the area

Fantastic experience, our guide was through our tour boat and she was fantastic. Definitely have someone guide you if possible. The ruins are amazing and never ending. You will need more than a few hours but I'm sure you can squeeze in a lot in one day. We didn't have time for the museum and we did not hike to the top which must be beautiful. Bring water and sunscreen there is no shade at all.

A morning excursion from the ship late October. An interesting visit to historical ruins and admire the architecture for that time. Very windy so a light jacket and walking shoes are recommended as it’s all gravel and stones.

Great walking tour of the island of the birth of Apollo. Simple ferry ride over. Last about 2 plus hours. Fascinating story and wonderful walk through the ruins.

Great place to visit during your stay in Mykonos. Lovely boat ride over to Delos and interesting tour when you arrive on the island. Time at the end of the tour to explore the island on your own, take pictures and/or visit the museum. Take some water and a sun hat with you! I did the afternoon tour and the sunset from the boat on the way back to Mykonos was stunning.

Fantastic archaeological site, it is a museum that you'll have to pay a little money to enter, and arrive via ferry. A lot of history here, so highly recommend a tour guide that can give you the history while you walk around. There is no shade, so if you do go prepare for sunny days and heat especially during the summer.

Not a ton of bells and whistles, the information signs really need to be replaced or at least cleaned. Still, it's an amazing place. Tons of incredible ruins and history, and considering it's on an uninhabited island, the more space accommodations are understandable. It would be nice if they were to add an audio guide in the future however. Oh and if you love Cats, this is the place for you. The island is full of them. Pretty friendly too, if you want to pet them. Theres hand sanitizer near the little port too so no worries there. Give the museum a visit too, it was fantastic!

An archealogical treasure.  A Unesco World Heritage site and protected island. Bring water, hat, sunscree and comfortable walking shoes!!! I only saw a tour guide with an umbrella (are they allowable?) I want to warn everyone of the lack of shade and lots of flat walking.  Our tour guide recommend that you go to the bathroom before the 30 minute ferry ride to the island, or go on the ferry, or wait till you get the Delos museum. I loved hearing the rich history of the Delos and how the ancients lived 2000 years ago:  The rain collection system, the ancient but effective plumbing and sewer systems.  Their religious histories of the various cultures and people groups. For the adventurous, hike up the top of the hill. I didn't go, but I saw people trekking up the steps to the where the Greek God or Goddess lives.
