A must-see while in Szczecin is the stunning Cathedral Basilica of St. James the Apostle. Not only is it a beautiful piece of history and architecture, but it also holds a special place in my heart. My grandmother helped fund its original restoration. One of the highlights is the opportunity to take an elevator up the tower for a panoramic view of the city. At 18 zł, it’s a bit pricey for a 5–10 minute experience, but the view of Szczecin from above is absolutely worth it. Just a heads-up, it can get quite warm at the top, so plan accordingly. Overall, it is a meaningful and memorable stop in the heart of the city.

Easy to find, great views from the tower on all sides. And a nice surprise, there are lifts to the viewing platform.

The cathedral is beautiful and quite historic. If you go on Sunday, You need to wait the Mass and then you can get in the hall.

Very beautiful church, you pay to go to the top of the tower for a nice view but it is worth it. Had an elevator too. The church is free to view at the other entrance.

The gothic cathedral was built between 12th and 14th century. It is the second tallest church in Poland. St James's Cathedral in Szczecin houses a pipe organ built between 1980 and 1982 by the Eule company from Bautzen. It is one of the largest organs in Poland, with 101 stops arranged on four manuals and a pedal.
