I really enjoyed my dinner at Arches Thai. We got there about 40 minutes before closing and could only sit outside (which I was excited about because it was so pretty). It is warmer on the outside patio than it is in front of the restaurant, maybe because it’s close to the kitchen? The service was really good, we were not left waiting for anything. The food was not super fast coming out, but it is a lot to prepare as well as other tables. I was pleasantly surprised by the presentation and taste. Definitely go check this place out, and sit outside!

Nice deco and friendly service. The taste of the dishes is comparable to other Thai eateries in major cities. The prices are a bit high but the large portion make up for it.

Everything was amazing - this is definitely a must stop for lunch or dinner! The Tom Yum soup with shrimp was amazing. Spice level 3 will be perfect for a little kick - lettuce wraps and crab Rangoon was a great start

This is such a gem in Moab. We had been craving pho for 3 days and were talking about it during a 10 mile hike earlier that day. And that's how we came across this awesome place. Loved the pho- the flavor of broth is a little different than classic Vietnamese pho but nevertheless delicious. Their Thai dishes were amazing. The crab fried rice is probably one of the best I've ever had compared to our past experience visiting popular Thai restaurants in nyc. The drunken noodles were also good. This place is spacious with copious indoor and outdoor seating. People working there were so nice and efficient. We came at 9 PM so it was quiet. Prices are very fair 15-20 per entree.

We had been camping for a few days and this was our first sit down restaurant in Moab. The portions were HUGE (can reasonably share one entree with another person especially when you’re camping like us and don’t have a large fridge or cooler or a microwave). I’ve never seen duck as an option at any Thai food restaurant so I tried the panang curry with duck. It was pricey at $32.95 but I figured I’d try it once. Duck was tender and there was a lot of meat in the portion with no pieces of bone - a miracle if you’ve had duck before! Husband got the curry noodle that uses the same noodles as pho. It had a bit of spice without it being overwhelming. Again the portion was massive but it tasted great! It’s nice that the restaurant is off the main road so parking was easier to find. We were seated right away without reservations. Water brought to us promptly. We were able to order quickly and were served in a reasonable time. Very impressed!

Google
This place is legit! The food was all amazing. Our group tried 4 appetizers and ordered 6 entrees and they were all delicious! The staff was so polite and friendly. The food was also gorgeous! The presentation was seriously incredible.

Google
This is an excellent choice for a meal (or two) while you are in Moab! We had such a fabulous time, and the restaurant was actually juggling a party of over 25 that had sat right before us. There was not too long a wait despite this, with drinks and appetizers coming out very quickly! I was super impressed. The food itself was so tasty that I wish I could order more here at home in Idaho! What a treat it is. Highly suggest the mango curry (if it is in season), the delicate chicken, and the green tea. All are pictured below. Wow! 10/10! We will be back. 😍

Google
We find a Thai restaurant on every trip and this is the best we’ve been to. Service, atmosphere and food were the finest we’ve ever experienced. The waiter helped us make the right choices. The culinary artistry was like no other. Try the Massaman Curry and the Panang Curry!!!

Lincoln L.

Yelp
Awesome service! The staff were polite and great. Loved their Tom Yum Soup--best Thai in Moab!

Martin S.

Yelp
The food here is fantastic! The portion on the Tom Yum soup was surprisingly filling. I also had some well seasoned edamame and had some of the lettuce wraps. Everything was great food wise. It seems this place is busy even during the slow season. And the decor is cozy and comfortable. Would definitely bring someone back here.

Yelp
My fiance stayed in Moab for Thanksgiving weekend and we were craving something comforting. Thankfully, Arches Thai was open for Thanksgiving day. It was a full house! We waited for quite some time until we sat at our table. The menu is huge! They even offer some curries that I've never heard of before like lychee curry and mango curry. We started with the curry puffs which was recommended by our server. It was delicious! Flakey and crispy on the outside, and flavorful on the inside. Our entrees took awhile, which was totally reasonable because of the holiday rush. When our entrees came out, I realized we should have just shared one. They were huge! I got the curry noodles which was good at first, but as I kept eating it, the curry became more dense because it was so thick and there was an endless amount of rice noodles. Noodle soups ideally should have a thinner broth. My fiance ordered the Tom Yum Noodles but it didn't quite have that lemongrass and tangy flavor. It tasted more like bun rieu, which is a Vietnamese seafood soup. Our servers were really nice, despite the holiday chaos. Overall, the food didn't quite have that authentic flair. If you're new to Thai food, you might enjoy this more.

Yelp
We were so happy this place was open on Thanksgiving Day! A lot of the restaurants in the Moab area were closed today, but we decided to look at Yelp and try to find a place. Not even our hotel receptionists were sure about where we could find food today. Anyway, we went to Arches Thai and had a great meal. I love papaya salad and they had a very good one. We also order a bowl of wonton soup and an eggplant dish with chicken and also my husband ordered the Masaman curry with duck. Of course that was a ton of food for two people so we ended up with leftovers that we could bring to a hotel for later. The ambience was good, and the service was attentive, but not overwhelming. Excellent experience!

Melissa S.

Yelp
Quiet atmosphere, decent amount of space indoors, and the presentation of the food was really nice! The shrimp in a basket appetizer was just okay, but the pad se eww and green curry entrees were both great. Really liked the Thai iced tea too. Reduced a star for customer service as it almost seemed like taking our order was an inconvenience to our server.

victoria t.

Yelp
What a great find in Utah! The Tom Kha soup was amazing. We had drunken noodles with tofu and veggies. Having been on the road a few days, we appreciated the generous portion of vegetables. This place would do well even in California.

Amy G.

Yelp
It was okay not great. We ordered a couple soups, they were tasty yet missing that special ingredients kaffir and cilantro Staff were very nice, we ordered the food came out quality. We sat outside in the back, weather was great, cute decorations.

Mackenzie H.

Yelp
Pleasantly surprised with how delicious Arches Thai was! The service was super fast and we loved the quirky decor. Highly recommend after a long day hiking/offroading

subhalagna d.

Yelp
The food was good , the service was perfect and the ambiance was great too. We ordered the green shrimp curry which came with rice, Tom yam noodle, pad Thai chicken, and basil chicken fried rice. They were perfect for our taste buds. Must try .

Lois G.

Yelp
The soup was good, and the fried rice was tasty, but very similar to Chinese fried rice. Unfortunately, there is no hot drinks for winner.

Brandon O.

Yelp
Came in mid-January so the crowds were non-existent. Had this place to ourselves. The atmosphere, staff, and food were all incredible.

Hailey ..

Yelp
Food is just ok overall. However, the drunken noodle doesn't taste like drunken noodle. 20% tips automatically added to the group of 4 people with very few services. Not worth the price and the tips

Sandy C.

Yelp
YUMMY! Food was fantastic, flavorful and beautifully presented. The service was spot on. The food came out out quickly and served hot. If this restaurant wasn't so far, we would be eating here all the time! A gem in Moab.

Eunice Y.

Yelp
Overall pretty mixed. thai iced tea: 5/5 pad thai: 4/5 drunken noodles: 5/5 pineapple fried rice: 2/5 the fried rice came out cold as if it was sitting cold the whole day. we sent it back to get it "heated up". thai iced tea was really well seeped and flavor was very strong. servers were nice and there was a couple groups of people there as soon as they opened at 4pm.

Christine D.

Yelp
The place was busy at 8:00 on a Monday night. (It's busy season in Moab). The food was good- Pad Thai with chicken, Pad Se Eiw and Massaman Curry all hit the spot. Spring Rolls were not available for some reason. Our food came out in three different shifts so we waited to start eating for a good 10 minutes after the first was set on the table. One bottle of water didn't 1/2 fill our 4 glasses each and we waited thru the entire meal to get more. (We did not order other drinks) but when the bill came more water did too. We had to keep looking for the busy server even to get our bill. In all the meal was satisfying for a crowded understaffed place.

Thao L.

Yelp
Service was quick and the waiters were nice & friendly. Place is clean. Good place for get together. However I don't find the food to be authentic Thai food. The Thai flavor is not there at all. Presentations look good, but taste is blend. The beef salad is missing lemon juice among other ingredients. The soup had too much chili oil on top, and it doesn't taste like typical tom yum soup. I think the food would be fine for non Thai native or those who aren't familiar with real authentic Thai food.

Dezzy S.

Yelp
They were swamped and remained on top of great service. Friendly staff and the food was freshly made. Excellent peanut sauce and thai iced tea! Big servings too!

Angela C.

Yelp
Great food and great decor! We really really enjoyed this restaurant! The decor is true Thai, and we loved the Fried Rice and the Red Curry was soooo good ... also the Thai Iced Tea! We weren't a fan of the Tom Ka Soup. The service was good ... fast and the server was able to get everything we needed quickly, and cater to our toddler with a cute Disney Princess water cup which helped keep her entertained for awhile! We strongly recommend coming here ... and get the spicy Red Curry!!

Nova L.

Yelp
Forced to pay 20% tips without the service that is good to ask for that. We ordered 5 dishes only and no additional services. When I asked, the server says this city has laws to do 20% tips for parties of 4. Also, they include this very sneakily at the last line of the drink menu and do not include how much they will tip at food menu.

Mary S.

Yelp
Hubs and I split the Drunken Noodles w/Shrimp. Nice sized portion -- big enough to share. Plus we ordered the Shrimp basket appetizer. Both delicious!! Our two best meals in Moab were at this and another Thai restaurant. I wish I could cook this good at home. Yum!

S N.

Yelp
The food and service were great. I was surprised that there were few people there. It was a cold night. The Thai soup was perfect for the night.

Kimmy L.

Yelp
As aforementioned in my previous review, I actually ended up going here for dinner two days in a row. I couldn't fit both days all in one review and so I wanted to continue my review of the dishes we ordered the second day: The JUNGLE CURRY was just alright. This was probably our least favorite dish of the ones we ordered because it was overpoweringly salty. This curry had bamboo shoots, bell peppers, carrots, green beans, Thai basil, and a string of peppercorn for presentation. Note that this curry has a kick to it and does not have coconut milk like the other curries. The PAD THAI was sweet, savory, and creamy. It may have been just a tad bit too sweet for our liking, but was still a great dish with strong fish sauce and peanut flavor. The peanuts and beansprouts added a nice crunch to the dish. The TOM YUM FRIED RICE was excellent. This dish was my family's overall favorite because it was different and tasted like Tom Yum (Hot & Sour) Soup- savory, slightly tangy, and a little bit spicy. It came with fresh tomato, cucumber, carrot, cilantro, mushroom, and onion. The RAMA was creamy from the mixed peanut and coconut milk sauce. It came with broccoli, carrots, and a side of rice. If you don't like spice but like sweet peanut butter, opt for this dish. The THAI ICED TEA was sweet and creamy and had a beautiful orange gradient to it. The THAI LIME TEA was different and tasted like a sweetened black tea limeade. Both teas were refreshing and helped to cool any fires in our mouths. Service was great both days and we got to enjoy sitting on the patio both days as well.

Yelp
The best duck. Best duck dishes in the US. Service is exceptional. The restaurant is a block off the MN ain drag do it is quiet & always clean. Family place remember to tip well. Summer will always gave aline so plan accordingly. Reservations recommend.

Yelp
Delicious Thai food. Fast service. They were decorated up big for Halloween with a bowl of trick or treat candy. The soup was delicious

Patrick S.

Yelp
Love this place. We eat here every time we come to Moab! There are now four Thai food restaurants in Moab which seems odd but good. Arches is the most enduring and best quality in my view. Indoor seating year round with a nice patio for warmer season weather allows them to seat a decent crowd. During the busier times this is a popular restaurant and a wait can be expected after 6pm. Wine selection is red or white. Beyond that, you may in for disappointment. Just go with the flow. Apps are good as are main dishes. We've never had dessert here. Pad Thai, Thai Basil chicken, Larb, TomYum, and many other dishes all fresher cooked and delicious. Great for families or couples. They do takeout as well. Service is good and they seem to turn tables quickly. Well worth the wait.

Sherray A.

Yelp
Amazing authentic Thai food some of the best I've ever had! Beautiful decor and great friendly service!

Brittany W.

Yelp
Do not come here if you're in a rush, with a large group or expect great service. We came with a group of 7 and were seated fairly quickly. We placed our orders, and then the food took forever to arrive. Not only that but there was at least 45 min wait between when the first plates arrived (noodle dishes - pad Thai, pad see ew) and the last plates did (curry). While the food was fresh, the wait staff didn't offer any explanation for the wait and continued to walk past our table avoiding eye contact. We also heard and saw multiple glasses being dropped/broken as we continued to wait, so the general feel was that they were incredibly short staffed and rushing. While the food was good and the portions were fairly large, I would not recommend coming here. I'm not sure if they offer takeout as an option, but that may be a better way to go - just be prepared to wait or call your order far in advance!

Chen L.

Yelp
Very delicious with good environment Real Viet Style Our family enjoy a lot here The noodles are highly recommended

Jessica R.

Yelp
Yum yum yum this food was delicious and I definitely recommend coming here. My husband also agreed that he would come back if we are in the area. The service was fast and efficient. The server was knowledgeable and helpful with our food selection. Ambiance was nice but nothing fancy, but very clean. My husband and I both agree that the curry was our favorite dish tonight.

Kathy S.

Yelp
Lovely atmosphere, busy evenings so that's a good sign for this restaurant, I really don't care because I'll do anything to have this PAyellow curry again.

Jenn T.

Yelp
From placing the order and receiving the food the waiter said "20-35 minutes". We waited over an hour for the food for takeout. I don't care if your sign says "not fast food" but you need to have some customer service etiquette when it comes to expected wait times and delays. At least offer water or a discount for people's troubles. Poor customer service, not even authentic Thai food, better off going somewhere where no one lies about wait times and does not even check on waiting customers to update changes in times. Try thinking about the starving hospital/EMS employees who only have an hour break. Try having empathy or do not service takeout. The phone is left off the hook anyway.

Natalie M.

Yelp
While it looks pretty unassuming, the food is top notch. They have a huge menu with an abundance of healthy items. It's obvious from the first bite that the ingredients are very fresh. You may choose take out or a spot to dine inside the bright restaurant. The service is efficient and the food comes quickly, still sizzling from the kitchen.

Alora M.

Yelp
We were coming off the Jeeping trail and asked the Husby to find us a place to meet up and eat. He chose this place as we were craving Thai food. It was good. First off, you stand outside in line and they call you in one by one. Service is fast-paced, but a little sloppy. We were given a big pitcher of iced water but no glasses, and we were definitely thirsty after being on the trails all day. Then, they brought two menus instead of three. Ok... They brought out enough silverware for three but only two napkins. So, maybe they're a little distracted by the huge crowd of people eating. We started with some steamed gyoza. It was plump, flavorful. I didn't know what to make of the side sauce, but it was ok. The waiter didn't understand what the Husby said and gave him squid instead of shrimp as his meat. We never saw the waiter again to ask him to change it, so he just went with it... I tried some, it had no flavor. Also, the lo mein noodles looked more like ramen noodles. I ordered the pad thai with pork. It tasted like pad thai that you might get anywhere. There wasn't a lot of meat in it, but the meat did seem tasty. The granddaughter ordered the pad see ew with chicken. She said it was good. It seemed to have a lot of broccoli with good sized pieces of chicken. It was her first time having Thai food. I have mixed feelings. I'm wondering if we just came on an overly busy night so things got missed. Everyone around us seemed to be enjoying their meals, so I might give it another chance when we come back to Moab. They did have a number of other menu items that sounded interesting. I guess we'll see...

Yelp
We are here in Moab for the Moab 240 as crew and pacers. We were hungry and wanted to grab some real food. The service was fast and efficient. The food was amazing! I had the Rama noodles with tofu. The sauce was so good with lots of peanut butter flavor. Wish I had taken a picture of it. The veggies were crisp and fresh and not over cooked. I would eat here again in a heartbeat. The seating in the booth was so comfortable that we hung out for about an hour after we ate.

Susan R.

Yelp
First time to Moab, we wanted to eat healthier and choose a Thai restaurant. The Arches Thai was alittle difficult to get to but worth it. I had a Thai salad which was so fresh and crispy. My husband had a red curry special which I helped him eat. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Sally H.

Yelp
Service was so fast. Food was great. We had free curry & a beef plate. Cute outside area, but it was cold

Marlon D.

Yelp
Food was good and came fairly quickly to our table after we ordered. Service was a little slow to come to our table maybe because it started to get a little busier once we got seated. The dining area inside the restaurant was well lit unlike some other places where the lighting is so dim you can hardly read the menu. Overall this was a fairly decent Thai restaurant. There was another Thai restaurant down the street I think so maybe the next time we are in town we will try it out.

Mabel R.

Yelp
The BEST Thai food in my opinion! Everything we ordered was excellent! First time we tried this place we were blown away and now we're back! The original party of four walked away feeling once again satisfied with the whole taste and experience! If we lived in Moab you best bet we'd be here at least weekly! Thank you for the scrumptious entrees and desserts! You again exceeded our expectations! Service was great and the ambiance was very relaxing. A must try when in Moab! You won't be disappointed.

Crystal C.

Yelp
Food was delish! I had the pad woon sen with shrimp and hubs had the pineapple fried rice. Large portions, so we both had leftovers to take home. We sat outside as the weather wasn't too hot nor too cold. Servers were pleasant. We're in Moab for a few more days, so we might be

Studio M E.

Yelp
20% automatic gratuity sneakily tacked on. Numerous reviews explain this. Wish we had seen this. When confronted they started lipping off. Avoid this place. Shame on them for doing this underhanded move. SHAME!!

Cindy Z.

Yelp
I noticed a few Thai spots in Moab, so thought I had to try one while in town. We arrived for early dinner and got seated in the outdoor area. If you can, definitely get a seat outdoors as it's just so cute. It feels like you're in a little cottage surrounded by trees and plants. Although there's flies, it's worth the atmosphere dining outdoors. I was craving soup, but I also always have to get the pad see ew whenever I'm at a Thai spot, so I was glad to see they had a small soup option, which allowed me to get both. I ended up ordering the Pork Pad See Ew ($17.95) and Small Seafood Tom Kha Soup ($6.95). I have to say that the food is pretty pricey from what I'm used to, but it really hit the spot. The food is delicious and beautifully presented. In addition, the service was amazing too! After a long day of hiking, this is the kind of comfort food you need in your life. I'm surprised to find such a great Thai spot here, but definitely a yummy stop in Moab despite the price tag.

Dang T.

Yelp
Found this nice Thai spot in the little town of Moab as I was visiting the Arches National Park with my family. The service was excellent. The food was also amazing. Highly recommend their Crispy Duck.

Channing M.

Yelp
We came here both nights we were in Moab and absolutely love this place. It's consistently good, super quick, and the food is so flavorful. We got all the curry, Tom ka, curry noodles, lettuce wraps, Tom yum, and many more dishes. Servers were all rally nice. There was seating inside and outside. It was delightful!

Sophia H X.

Yelp
Ordered the drunken noodles - it was delicious, although portion size seemed a little less than the pad Thai. Friends ordered pad Thai and thought it was great, will say that it aired on the sweeter/more tomatoey side for pad Thai. Another friend ordered Pineapple Fried Rice - if you're expecting sweet, this has more of a turmeric, almost Singaporean noodle taste. However, it came out cold and had to ask for it to be warmed up, but they happily remade the dish. Thai iced tea was wonderful, tasted very authentic! Came in right when opening so restaurant was a bit quiet but servers were attentive and friendly.

Martin B.

Yelp
Large portions. Small price. Good food Had Chicken Pad Thai Good service Was told that this was the best Thai in the area

Sarah T.

Yelp
The food was delicious and the service was amazing and friendly. I'd def go back when I visit again. We had the green curry with duck and the drunken noodles - both super yummy! Their hot chili sauce is delish if you like spicy!!!

Haylee M.

Yelp
Ordered Thai food for pick up here after a day of hiking and it was a really good end of the day. I got Thai Peanut Chicken Skewers and Garden rolls. The chicken was really well cooked. And a generous amount of chicken as well. The peanut sauce was good, not as strong as a peanut flavor as I've had otherwise. It was a good balance of peanut and soy. I really really love the Garden Rolls! (Lettuce, vermicelli noodles, carrot, cucumber, basil leaf and cilantro, in soft rice paper) They were also really big. Much bigger than I was expecting! Good amount for the price. The hoisin sauce that came with was also really nice. Not too salty or sweet. Just a really good balance. I could have had three orders of this and just called it a meal! My fiance got the Chicken Prik Khing (stir-fried green bean, bell pepper, carrot, onion, kaffir lime leaf with red curry paste), and asked for medium spicy. Man. Was that spicy! He loved it because the flavor really came through with the curry paste and all the chicken and veggies in there, but would not have been able to finish it without that rice. I tried some of it too and I love a good dish recipe but this was actually quite spicy even for medium! He also got the Thai Iced Coffee; It was super pretty to be honest. A bit too sweet for me though, although he liked it.

Elaine R.

Yelp
Go here you will not be disappointed! Food was delicious! And pretty! Service was so fast Authentic Thai food in Moab! I would rate them a 5 even in bay area! Patio was nice as I had my dog but so Manny flies! Our favorites was the 2 Best Friends - the sauce was on point and went great with rice Shrimp and scallop stir-fried with onion, bell pepper, baby corn, and carrot in our special sweet chili paste sauce. Bean thread salad - so good Silver bean thread noodles with shrimp, minced chicken, carrot, onion, celery, cilantro, and scallion in a spicy lime dressing. Pad thai was great from the noodles to the level of sweet n savory. Crisp duck was yummy with spicy basil sauce Loves the fried banana and eggroll wrapper (Mini turon for my pinoy friends) with chocolate and vanilla ice cream with whip cream in a tempura bowl.

Yelp
05/11/22 - We found an excellent Thai restaurant in MOAB set back one block from highway 191. This is just what the doctor ordered and was by far the best meal we have eaten in the last few days. Arches Thai is a large spacious restaurant w/large dining area coupled w/good service & outstanding Thai food. We started w/Seafood Soup Tom Kha w/shrimp, scallops, mussels & cuttle fish, coconut milk, Thai herbs, mushrooms, cilantro & scallions. This soup was absolutely delicious seasoned to perfection. We also ordered 2 entrees, spicy Basil w/Thai Basil, chicken, red peppers, green beans & onions. The other order was the chicken pad Thai w/noodles eggs, bean sprouts & peanuts. Both were very good & were generous sized portions, enough that we had a small lunch the next day while we were driving through Canyonland National Park. I would recommend this restaurant
