An events pub at Archie's Creek specialising in live entertainment and short film nights every Thursday night. A fabulous beer garden for live gigs in warmer weather and a cosy indoor area in the cooler months that give off an in-your-own-lounge-room vibe. Bring your own nibbles to the weekly film nights and settle back with a bunch of other film lovers every Thursday from 7-9. Tickets are only $15.

We went to see the band Kingswood. The hotel only opens with music. It was a friendly, fun atmosphere. Drinks were not over priced. Beautiful place to sit outside, all covered (from the January sun). The location is close to Phillip Island which is where we were at the time so good for us. A bit far from Melbourne but easy to get to and worth it to keep local music alive!

Went to James Reyne on the 2nd March. Booked in December. Received an email saying doors opened at 2.30pm for a 3pm show. CLEARLY NOT. Arrived at .2.25pm to find all centre seats gone and we were in the back blocks. If we had known we could have arrived earlier. Support act was poor evidenced by people talking all the way through. Very disappointing

Great little pub that has extremely good live music acts. Well worth checking online for acts coming up. We drove from Melbourne for a gig and do so about twice a year. Recommended.

Like a small country pub with an amazing, large, outdoor space for live music? This place is for you. Basic food well done, all the drinks you need and guaranteed good times. Don't hesitate to drop in here, or book tickets when a live act is coming through. You won't regret it.

A lot of work has been done to create a relaxed outdoor area with a live music stage. The lambs ribs were delicious and the staff were friendly, attentive and helpful despite having 80 people booked in for dinner. Much better than your average pub food - the new chef is definitely a keeper!

On a crowded Saturday night, with a concert to follow, the staff were attentive, moved through the crowd seamlessly, and meals were promptly served. The meals are country pub style and well priced, as expected in a pub where the atmosphere has been retained through the minimum of restoration.

Away from the Bass hwy. A nice old pub with good size countermeal. The chips especially were delish. Would love to go again but next time to see some live music too. Not sure if there is any caravan park in town, doesn't seem to be. Would be ideal if travelling through and staying for a night or two
