My husband & I have been customers for almost 2 decades. I firmly believe keeping one’s money in one’s community keeps the community strong. The meat selection is terrific. The staff is friendly & helpful. It’s really nice to have a grocery store in the neighborhood, it’s perfect for a get in get out trip.

You want the best cuts of meat? Go here. Best price in good beef? Go here. Wanna make your own tallow? They got ya. The butchers are the best.

I have been a patron of this store since my childhood, and the staff has consistently provided excellent service, recognizing me by name. The meat department stands out for its exceptional quality and selection, and I exclusively purchase my meats from them. Additionally, they accommodate WIC and food stamp programs, making it accessible for various customers.

Prices are on par with Kroger or Walmart for most items there some that are higher over all its a great store

Local and great selection for the size. Different specials/sales weekly. Has been our new go-to for smaller store runs. Cashiers have been very friendly and appear to like what they do. Store is kept pretty clean and shelves tend to stay stocked and organized. Great job by the entire crew that works here.! We have been shopping here infrequently for several years, but now that we are in the area we are here atleast 1x-2x a week. Keep up the great work.! Thank yall.

Archie's is a community staple in Splendora from the great Super nice employees to the great lowest-priced meat department in the area and not to mention all they've done in the community I very highly recommend shopping here!!!!

Great mom and pop country store. If you need them to special order , just ask maybe they can. They always do what they can to satisfy the customer. As expected some of their prices are a little higher than some of the big box stores. But you get the convenience of going to a small store without the hassle of the big ones. The owners and all of their workers are very cordial and eager to help. Always try to support our local businesses!

Ah, Archie's. This quaint little small-town grocery store has everything you need, as long as you don't want it to be organic and it's nothing too "weird" like quinoa or tofu. As you can see by the photos the atmosphere is unique, with a taxidermy menagerie that looms above as you shop. Customer service is always excellent and friendly. Also, fun fact, they recently got Apple Pay. Take that Mr. Fancy Pants Kroger, with your Starbucks and your sushi. Archie's is officially more technologically advanced than you. So, if you don't mind paying a little more, don't care about what brand you get, and it's before 9pm, Archie's has your back. Plus it's good to support local businesses like this. Kroger has enough money. They'll be fine.

As Houston keeps coming further North, this little grocery store still has the small town atmosphere that most in Splendora love. From the great customer service to all the taxidermy on display, his is your old school business that is often missing in our lives. They don't have the selection or pricing of Kroger but you will walk away satisfied with your purchase when leaving this establishment.

Taxidermy in retail, not very pleasant. But on a positive note, the staff is very friendly. But lets be honest, comparing apple pay, to Kroger's Technology is a joke. Kroger, at least has a pharmacy, and online pick up not to mention E-Coupons. Lets be honest, will this store, actually make it, another 20 years, highly doubtful. Its 2019, not 1990. Small town, no longer exists. Any retail store must keep up with its competitors, if it wants to survive. That is a fact. Eventually, Kroger, Walmart, or HEB will make its way between Cleveland and Splendora. Lets face it, most people would prefer to save money. Archies needs a marketing plan, and a way to improve their business, if they want to survive in todays retail market. Products also needs to be rotated more often, lots of expired products on shelf, and products very close to expiration.

Best and most courteous grocery store in Splendora! Just wish the sales were published on yelp! Store is clean and well stocked! If there is an item that you need that is not stocked, just ask Hollie or Chris, they will stock it or tell you why it is not possible. I always call it,"Archies friendly family food store." That's what comes to mind when I think of that store! Love it!!
