The best cafe in stone town!! I 100% recommend this place to anyone who wants to simply enjoy a lovely meal with a goregous sea view! All the staff & owner are so welcoming and friendly. The meals are a perfect size & definitely worth the price. I personally recommend going for the fresh fish with a side of salad & pairing it with their fresh passion fruit juice. This is now my go to place will be coming back again :)

We just walked around and decide to have lunch here at 14:00. The service is slow and it looked like every service is very tired. But I have to say the ginger iced tea is very good! And it’s waterfront but the smell is not very good

The avocado salad was excellent, really tasty and big size. Tuna fish was also very tasty! Outside seating so can get quite hot.

This is by far my best place to eat and hangout. I absolutely love their Zanzibar Spice Chai and can honestly say of all the ones I have tried throughout the island nothing beats Archipelago Waterfront Restaurant cuppa spiced chai. I have eaten here as well and must say their portions are a good size. This place is a must visit for all. I highly recommend it.

after we left the restaurant leaving the money on the table on the receipt tray, the waitress chased us on the street and told us that we didn’t left the right amount, which was simply not true as two people checked if the sum was right. so basically we were scammed. always check the money with the waitress (which we didn’t do). do not recommend this place.

Terrible experience. Didn’t tell us their payment machines weren’t and tried to up charge us 10%. Instead of paying in Tanzanian Schillings they tried to make us pay in USD for 10% more, no matter the payment method. After almost 30 minutes of discussion, he let go off it. Learned later on the staff around said disrespectful things in Swahili. Anything the owner responds that disagrees with these statements is false, and he will know it.

Lovely open-air, beachfront restaurant with very good seafood options as well as options for those who hate seafood. Service is slow but acceptable. Credit Cards are accepted here. No alcohol is served. Acceptable bathrooms for patrons.

Very nice waterfront restaurant. We went for lunch and both got the kingfish which was excellent. It has beautiful views of the Indian Ocean and is very inexpensive. I don’t believe they serve alcohol
