Archondoula Studios

We stayed for three nights at Archondoula as part of our Greek island tour.||||The studios are in a fantastic location in the heart of Plaka with amazing views of the sunset. In case you cannot get a room with direct sunset view, you can always go to the square in front of the church around the corner. In my opinion, Plaka is the nicest town/village on the island with a good selection of tavernas, bars, and little shops just a short walk away from the studios.||||The studios themselves are clean and nicely decorated in a traditional yet modern style. I found the size of the rooms appropriate given Greek island standards. WiFi is complimentary but we had some issues with the signal which was not available at all times. It is worth mentioning that toiletries are not provided. I think this is a minor issue which the management could easily change but which would enhance the customer experience significantly. These rooms being studios they come without breakfast, of course. I would recommend the excellent patisserie down the road for that. I found the rooms also to be very reasonably priced so value was excellent.||||One thought to keep in mind:||As mentioned in other reviews, Plaka is a bit out of the way so it is strongly advisable to have a rental car or something. We would have actually appreciated transfers from the port organized by the management. Also, the actual core of Plaka (where the studios are located) is not accessible by car. As such, one should be prepared to carry the luggage across town.

Great apartment in Plaka just 200m from the village center with a nice terrace and a superb view straight west into the mouth of the natural harbour and of course - the perfect setting for sunsets. We stayed here in Oct 2020 for 8 nights and Oct 2022 agaim for 3 nights. The family also own the Archondula restaurant in the main square which is similarly superb.

Beautiful room, clean and tidy and we even got a short tour of the town, a simple personal touch. We loved our stay, even when it was only one night. The location is perfect, it was hardly a 10 minute walk from our carpark. We will definitely stay here again!

Nicely furnished studios located in the picturesque village of Plaka. The rooms are nicely furnished with a stylish and modern touch. Also the views from most of the rooms are great, especially for watching the sunset.||However, the reasons for the average rating are the rather small size of the studios and the high price compared to other studios in Milos. Especially the suite is overprized for what it offers (although it's very beautiful with big balcony)! Also, the kitchen could be a bit better equipped (e.g. missing cutting board, bread knife, towels, more glasses etc.). Nevertheless, we very much enjoyed our stay in Archondoula Studios and can recommend it.

We stayed ath the top roof room with a huge 30m2 terrace and increadible view. This doubles your joy. The room was big enough for a family with 11 years old boy. Room is comfitable with nice hommy cute furniture and kitchen is with full kitchenware. More than all I have to mention about Stavros who is 83 years old doing his best for you to enjoy your stay.

Milos was the favorite part of our trip and Archondoula Studios maked it perfect. We stayed 3 nights in one of the 2 rooms they have (not a studio), it is small but fonctionnal (comfortable double bed, air clim, cute and modern bathroom very clean, closet, fridge, Wifi) with an amazing view from our balcony. Room was made every day and the price is very good.||||I absolutely wanted to stay in Plaka and was not desapointed, the location is amazing : some narrow white streets near central Plaka (restaurants, boutiques), very quiet for the night. Two minutes walking from the bus stop and 30 minutes walk from Klima, catacombs, etc.||||A special thank to Mrs Papadaki and her husband for their hospitality.

Stayed at one of the studios at Archondoula. Very pleased with the stay! Fresh, clean, fantastic view from the terrace (!). Great location in Plaka, with just a very short walk to the center. Parning close by if you have a car (recommended!). I can recommend this hotel, and the Owner Stavros will take good care of you

Excellent experience. We had the top oceanside studio with very nice view. Mister Stavros and George made us feel welcome and provided us with excellent service. A bit pricey but we knew that before. The view and the location makes up for that. If you come by car then you need probably need to park your car at a 5/6 minute walk. Therefor 4 stars. The rest was perfect. The restaurants in the town are great and are at a one minute walk.
