We stayed in one of the new studio rooms and would highly recommend! Everything in the room is very high quality and the heated tile is a nice touch. Mark (host) was very friendly and gave us some good info on the area. The cedar hot tubs are a nice touch, we will be back.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! From the moment we arrived, the owner and staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to assist with anything we needed — they truly made us feel at home. The owner even took the time to recommend and explain must-visit spots around Wanaka, which was especially helpful since it was our first time there. Our room was excellent — clean, comfortable, and just a short walk from the town center. The hot pools were an added highlight — affordable, really nice, and the perfect way to relax while taking in the stunning surroundings. It was the ideal spot to unwind and enjoy the beauty of Wanaka. If we ever come back, we’ll definitely be staying here again without a doubt!

Wonderful stay. Lovely and friendly hosts. Excellent rooms and very close to the town center. The hot pools were an added bonus. They were affordable with one of the most beautiful sky views we have ever had and it was private! Definitely recommended.

I had a wonderful stay there, will definitely go back if I visit the town again. Very nice and warm welcome hospitality. During the check-in proactively provide useful information for the guests. Parking just right in front of the unit, very convenient. Only a few mins drive to supermarket and the famous tree in town!Very clean and tidy of the unit, with well equipped lKitchen facilities. Like the shower with very hot water for winter. The hot spa at the top of the road near reception would be good to try when there is still day light, coz a bit too dark and cold at night unless having a few people going together chit chatting and watching stars? That could be a bit romantic too?

Great service and an amazing location – just a few minutes' drive from the shops, which was really convenient. The place was clean, with a lovely big table and a good amount of room overall. It can feel a little crowded with four people, so if you’re after more space, just keep that in mind. It’s not ultra-modern, but it’s very homely and comfortable. The big sliding door provides excellent ventilation, which made the space feel fresh. One big plus was the washing and drying facilities – super handy and cheaper than using laundromats outside. Overall, a great stay with everything we needed in a nice, accessible spot.

We had a wonderful 8 night stay at Archway Motels. We were there for the Festival of Colour and the location and ambience of our family unit was perfect. Our newly renovated unit was extremely clean, warm and had everything in it we wanted. The beds were divinely comfortable, great shower and the services were outstanding. Jacqui & Mark were the best hosts. They were welcoming and friendly and went the extra mile to ensure we were well cared for. They even lent us a wheat bag to microwave, when one of us hurt her back while going for a ride on an e-bike, sorted Netflix on the smart TV for us and gave great recommendations on places to see and visit. It was like a home away from home and we loved our holiday in Wanaka at Archway. We will be returning.

Loved it here. Would definitely stay again. The cabins were spot on, Clean and spacious with the kitchen having all that you need and the beds being comfy. Lots of heat for those cold days/nights. Electric blankets. Great outdoor play area for the kiddies. Close to town. Mark was super nice and informative. Newer cabins being built on the property, Nearly finished.

My family of 5 had a great stay at this central apartment/motel. The renovated, updated rooms were great. The room was well equipped and well heated which was great for the freezing winter!
