We stayed here 5 nights and really loved it. It’s close to centre of town but is like a small oasis due to its design with lots of trees and plants. The rooms were comfortable with lovely toiletries in bathroom. The staff were so friendly and chatty. Nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was delicious every day - freshly cooked to order. The little pool was great and we enjoyed the small lounge/restaurant area to sit in and play games. It was lovely to be in a smaller hotel - there are only 15 rooms. We had seats outside our rooms and space to dry clothes and towels outside our room which was ideal.

Booked a 7 night stay with our 17 yr old daughter , for our 3rd week in Costa Rica as we moved to Tamarindo. |Once we arrived in town realised it wasn’t for us at all and hotel really just a nice back packing place to stay for a night or two. |We paid a lot of money for the stay then booking. Com dropped prices by over 60%! |So check prices as definitely not worth amount we paid. |Room fine and clean but that’s it really. |Breakfast limited to 6 choices but both hubby and daughter don’t eat eggs and 5 choices had eggs!!! So limited to basic fruit salad no melon or mango and some yogurt every day. Only orange juice offered |Free coffee available during day usually cold and none freshly made. |Beach towels and water filter nice touch. |If we hadn’t paid out what we did would have moved to beachfront location as not a particularly nice walk by grotty road through back packers town to beach. |Anyone over age 25 best to avoid Tamarindo all together as much nicer places to go .

I stayed by myself here and it was better than I expected!! It’s a couple blocks away from the noise but still walking distance to everything. All the staff were very helpful and friendly and never said no to anything. I loved my porch with the hammock in the middle of all the tropical plants; it’s the perfect place to relax. Definitely recommend!

Beautiful quiet hotel tucked back off the road. It was nice being in a little sanctuary where you can easily get to everything but not hear the party noises at night. Our rooms were very clean and comfortable with good air conditioning. Breakfast is included so you can eat by the pool and gorgeous garden. It is a very short walk to everything you could want--the beach, bars, night market and many places to eat. The staff, including Freddy and Harry, were very hospitable and friendly. Our rooms were in a lovely garden with hammocks and chairs right in front. The pool was lovely and very clean. Would highly recommend!

We absolutely loved this hotel from check in to check out and everything in between. It was close to the action, but far enough to where you didn't have to deal with noise. The back gate to the "alleyway" directly to central road was absolutely perfect so you didn't have to walk down the rocky dirt road near the front entrance. The front desk was always friendly and readily available for any requests we may have had. The room was clean and the air conditioner worked well. Breakfast here is fantastic too. 100% recommend this hotel and I hope to return soon!

This place was OK, but certainly not luxury as it says on the signs. Breakfast was very good, cooked fresh not buffet, as much coffee as you like and water fountains to fill your bottles. The rooms were clean and comfortable, mattresses good, but little things let it down a bit like bulbs not working and bathroom drain a bit blocked. Not major, but a shame. Location was good, and the service was OK. The place lacked a bit of life, and was rough around the edges a little. Small pool and some deckchairs, but most furniture needs a bit of tlc

Great boutique hotel in Tamarindo. Owner lives onsite and is very friendly along with staff. Rooms are clean, nice pool, wonderful breakfasts served daily. We love being able to walk everywhere within a few minutes.

I stayed here spontaneously and couldn’t have made a better choice. I booked a bungalow, and it was absolutely amazing-beautifully designed, perfect lication, super clean, and I especially loved having my own hammock and outdoor space to relax. The overall vibe of the hotel is calm and peaceful, and the other guests seemed to be just as laid-back and friendly. The breakfast was delicious, and the staff went above and beyond, always kind, welcoming, and super helpful with anything I needed, from booking activities to giving local tips. I’m so happy I chose this place, and I’ll definitely stay here again on my next trip to Tamarindo. Highly recommend!
