If you are looking for a well priced, central location, and authentic stay in Avila, this is it! It is an extremely down to earth place, with no air of pretentiousness. ||||I chose to stay here between May and June 2017, and it far exceeded my expectations. The hosts were great and they went out of their way to help me with all my needs. I asked for a list of mass times in Avila, and Raquel kindly looked up all the mass times in Avila and printed them out for me. She even suggested that I take a look at one mass in particular at the Monastery down the hill; it was the most special mass of my life, with the most angelic voices from the cloistered nuns! She also suggested a place where I can wash my clothes and that REALLY helped as well!||||The fact that the hosts are willing and eager to speak with their guests is something that is not commonplace nowadays in many hotels. It gives you insight when you engage with the locals into the region and place, and this is something that gives you a better understanding as a traveler, not a tourist.||||Breakfast was good as well, with a hearty selection of bread, yogurt, orange juice, coffee, as well as an assortment of pastries. Some of the pastries were wrapped, which were perfect for when I got the munchies while driving around Castile and Leon!||||What else...the internet met my needs and was even suffice to hold wi-fi calling back to the United States, so I would say it is pretty good. The hosts let you come in late with a code so if you plan on partying, you can come late. I enjoyed my room which consisted of a nice full bed, and a skylight showcasing the medieval wall of Avila. The shower was quite strong as well so another plus!||||I think to sum up, if you want to experience that Spanish, particularly Castilian, hospitality of a family owned and run hotel, Arco San Vicente is your best bet in Avila!
