I have been to this place 3 times and every time they have a small and simple menu that looks amazing! But then, they tell you that they are out of ingredients for half the menu; cream cheese. 🙄 They are out of the main condiment that goes with bagels. Then they tell you they are out of their main hot bagel sandwich, bagel, egg, brisket ends....Now why would you not at least out some tape on the menu to show they aren't available. I went down the whole list and stopped after the 3rd item I wanted was unavailable. You can do better, prove it. This should not be considered a neighborhood spot unless you improve your services and menu.

First time here at Arcola Cafe. Took a little walk at Lake Montebello then went to the cafe for a treat. We had coffee, chai tea, and shared an egg and cheese breakfast Sammie on their homemade everything bagel. We loved the intimate, warm and relaxing atmosphere. Can't wait to go back!

Delicious coffee, period! I enjoyed my mocha latte very much (I wanted a second by the time I finished the first!). Staff were super pleasant and engaging. It was a real treat visiting!

My husband and I were in the area for an appointment (coming from PA) and decided to get breakfast at the nearest cafe. Arcola Cafe came up on the search, so we tried them out. First impressions: I absolutely love the vibe and welcoming feeling of this cafe. I'm a plant person, so seeing all the different plants just put a smile on my face. And the music; who doesn't want to mellow out to Marvin Gaye at 8:30 am while waiting for your breakfast to be freshly prepared? I ordered an Americano, my husband got a macchiato, and we both ordered the Eggs n Ends. Everything was on point, and that bagel sandwich was one of the tastiest combinations of flavors I've ever had at a cafe. Next time we're in town, we'll definitely stop in for a bite.

This place deserves ALL of its nearly 5 star rating - it is a very comfortable and welcoming cafe. I came for a late breakfast on a week day, running right into the lunch hour. The food was quick, fresh, and delicious. The service is friendly and attentive. The vibe is very chill, with smooth jazz playing. I appreciate the atmosphere.

I had a croissant and a cup of coffee . The croissant wasn't much to brag about and the coffee was cold! When I say cold, i mean cold!!!! And the cup was only 3/4 full. I didn't have a good experience. 3 stars for the vibe and diversity of the place, but not the food/drink.

Lovely new cafe in the area. Stopped in for a cortado and latte and they were both great! Really nice atmosphere with relaxing music, books everywhere, plenty of seating, and lots of natural light. I’ll definitely be back!

Google
Quaint local spot with a warm, cozy, and friendly Baltimore neighborhood feel. I had their Turkey-Clerb sandwich and chips. It was delicious. My only complaint was that there was only one folded turkey slice on it. For what it cost, a couple more slices would have been greatly appreciated. The flavor was still outstanding, though. We had the beef empanada and the spinach and feta empanada. They were crusty, seasoned well, and pretty tasty! Coffee, teas, and wait a minute....ICE CREAM are also served there. Sydney's Ice Cream, to be exact, is some of the best that Baltimore has to offer. Give Cafe Arcola a try!!

my go to coffee shop for studying/ bringing friends! everything is yummy, everyone is kind, and it is close to my house which is always nice. this is a relatively newer business so it has been great to watch it grow and get better. such a cute spot i love arcola!!

Yelp
Cute little coffee shop right on Harford road. Free street parking right out front. Coffee was delicious - I got a Cubano Latte, it's $6 plus 75¢ for oat milk. Loved it. Got a breakfast sandwich, bagel was ok - a little hard but it had a nice jam spread on it which was so good, and lots of avocado. This would've been a 4 star review had they not included tip automatically. I can't stand that, especially for counter service. A tip is not a demand, customers should be able to choose what, if any, they would like to provide. This charged me a tip before I even got my food... For the automatic tip, I wouldn't come back, which is a shame. It's really a poor business practice. My bagel was $13 and coffee was $7. If you can't support your business on that $20 meal, that's a business issue, not mine.

Yelp
Not a good start of the day this morning after my walk around the lake. When Arcola opened at 8:15 this morning there were just two of us patrons. The barista added music right away, pretty loud. I asked him if he could lower the volume (I intended to read). He wasn't pleased I could tell, but he may have lowered it some. I couldn't stay longer than 15 minutes, it still sounded like I was in a disco. I've been at Arcola in better days, in a more friendly atmosphere. We bought coffee beans last week, the lady kindly explained to me that they don't sell regular dark roast, without the added flavors. Probably most people prefer it enhanced, outside of Italy, fair enough. In any case there are other places in Lauraville, but it sure was disappointing!

Yelp
Cozy coffee and tea venue. Lucky to grab a parking spot in front. Extensive menu on the wall. We went with the focaccia platters. Delicious. Locally roasted coffees provided for pleasing cold mixtures. Pleasant and patient employee, helped us make decisions on our orders.

Yelp
This place is so close to home it may be a problem!! lol I love when I stumble upon a new coffee shop and it's great. I was home one day and threw coffee shop in the map and went to the first place it sent me and I wasn't disappointed! The staff were welcoming and helpful and even modified a drink to my liking. The space is cute and cozy with a communal table in the middle that really makes you feel like you want to stay and work awhile. I also like that they have some local artist items for sale. I haven't stayed to work but I've been a few times to pick up and each time it's been great. Also get the breakfast sandwich, it's so good!!

Yelp
After a coworker raved about this place I had to try it! Austin was very welcoming as soon as I walked in the door. The coffee was fantastic. It is a smaller space and voices can echo, so plan accordingly if you need to work. Another customer told me I would be back, and he was right!

Yelp
Yes, I'm going to be "one of those" customers; but, still, after having been a barista at independent coffee houses back in the day and now the defunct Borders, I think I am eligible to say this criticism: Please do better. There is absolutely no reason to have nearly everything edible be out of stock during Sunday brunch and take more than 10 minutes to make iced tea. Really?

Yelp
Great drinks and immaculate vibes Exactly what the neighborhood was missing! The employees are always patient and calm, even when it gets super busy in the mornings. Plus, the lake is right around the corner, so it's perfect for a little treat on my walks.
