ARCOTEL Onyx Hamburg

Nice hotel and very well located! Breakfast was also perfect and the staff was nice and friendly. Only 2 points of attention: our room was certainly not very clean (dusty) and I do not like the Hotel soap line and I forgot my shower gel.... It stank! I would advise the hotel to try out some other line!

A nice experience. The room was big, with good beds. The toilet was in a separat room too the bahtroom - there was no sink in the toilet, so you had to go into the bathroom afterwards - not optimal. The service and room service was good. The breakfast buffet in the morning was big and good with a wide varity. Lokation was perfekt - walking distance too a lot.

Very rude staff at reception, i had to raise complaint to area manager, i will never use this hotel again. I have change the last minute booking for 12 rooms elsewhere, My company will not use this hotel any more. |I have also booked room with breakfast but received room without breakfast. very dissapointed.

Location is really good. Rooms are good for 4 star hotel. But the service is really bad. They didn’t even put the reception number to call them. The rooms will not be cleaned at all. Only the bed will be blanket up and bed sheets stay with dirts and Floor with dirts. The reception lady was 100% drunk or high. Really high and weird. Not kind at all and on top of that we ordered a baby bed, they added a normal bed.

4* hotel but without the 4* facilities you would expect. No gym. But most importantly no restaurant. Really? At night either you walk away or you order a delivery, that you need to come down to pick at reception. Breakfast expensive for what you get. Rooms very comfortable and stylish, but the other elements are needed to for a 4* hotel

We had a great time with this hotel as our home base in Hamburg. The location was fantastic. We felt safe, had many food and drink options close by, taxis right out front, and a very short walk to the subway. We were able to store our bags when we arrived early, and left late. Front desk service was adequate, but they could've used a 2nd person at busy times. ||The beds were very comfortable, but the AC in the room wouldn't go beyond 24C which is a bit too hot for me, but it was cool outside so opening the window helped. |I would stay here again if I were to return to Hamburg.

Everything was great! We were at the hotel for the EURO football championship. ||Three nights, very tasty breakfast, although not enough vegetables offered for me. ||But the room was very nice, clean and also big.||The hotel is in the center, everything was close. Staff very friendly, nothing was a problem. ||Parking is possible in public garages that are part of the hotel. The parking fee costs 22 Euros for 24 hours. Quite a high price when we were there for three days. But there were few free places in the city during the EURO, so justifiable. But I'm afraid, that this price for parking is also in the normal season.||But I definitely recommend the hotel, very nice, all the necessary services and the big advantage is that it is in the center.

I’ve stayed at this hotel 3 times and I’m always very satisfied. The location is perfect at the start of Reeperbahn, the rooms are big and clean and the staff are friendly (especially one of the bartenders, Herr Commodore who unfortunately was off on the night of my latest stay). Parking is easy although a little pricey, overall I’d absolutely recommend Arcotel Onyx if you plan on spending the night at Reeperbahn.

Awesome location on the East end of the Reeperbahn entertainment district. Nice rooms with good sound separation. Efficient friendly staff. Good substantial breakfast.

This hotel is classified as "4 star superior". Let's compare it to my experience: - The room was spacious with a large mini-bar - 3 elevators with card access - Large bar in the basement - Complementary Wi-Fi - Check-In: 3pm / Check-Out: 12pm Bullet points to mention, but I wasn't able to judge: - Parking Garage - Spa/Computer-Station - Breakfast (from 6.30am to 12.30pm, next door, EUR 17.90) It was very positive that I was able to access my room prior to official check-in time. Not all off the staff seems to be experienced and educated in their business area (front desk, bar). They use pictures of the famous building next door ("The Dancing Towers" in their advertisement even though that's not their property (apart from breakfast offering) - even though their own building looks very fancy! Very close to the amusement area "Kiez" and in close walking distance to the port ("Landing Bridges"). The location is perfect
