I'm with Connie on this. I LOVE Arc'teryx products (for the most part). But this store has no reason to exist.
They sell technical gear, so, it's understandable that buyers would have questions, but for that you'd need to be able to get help. On the very few occasions I've actually been able to get a salesperson here, they look at you blankly when you ask, say, which jacket is recommended for a certain temperature. Contrast that to Patagonia on Bowery, where the staff is so knowledgeable you feel like you've never even been outdoors.
On top of that, there's very little product out at Arc'teryx Soho, with zero information, so you can't even just grab things for yourself (particularly with the women's line).
I made a specific trip over on the day the women's Veilance products were released (only to that store) and despite a nearly empty store, I couldn't get a staffer to save my life. I could hear a couple in the back, and there were two at the register checking people out, but no one to actually help.
When I got home my husband said "Was the Arc'teryx store as useless as usual?" I had to laugh.
