Incredible tour with Margot, who took us all the way to Finland where the weather conditions looked best. The tour started with a short NASA video en route on the bus with a simple explanation of the lights and Margot handed out snacks for the journey. When we arrived at our spot by a frozen lake we were lucky enough to have the lights arrive immediately! Margot did a great job of taking quick photos of everyone by the lights, she was happy to take as many photos as people wanted. We were so lucky to see lots of vibrant lights that night, but we also loved the atmosphere at the camp. It was really fun to heat sausages over the campfire and listen to stories about the Northern Lights and there were unlimited hot drinks available. They were really generous with food and drink, unusual for a tour. There was even a heated toilet tent, they’re the only tour to offer this! Margot was so quick to send the photos to us, she sent them before we even arrived back in Tromsø. The bus was comfortable and even had wifi. This tour really had everything, we loved it and we would give it more stars if we could!

An unforgettable experience!!! The breathtaking scenery felt out of this world, and the magical Northern Lights were an incredible bonus! David was absolutely impeccable - his expertise and dedication made the experience even more extraordinary. Roy, as our driver, was safe and pleasant, adding to the comfort of the journey. One of the best experiences of my life! It was just amazing. Everything was perfect - delicious food, warm drinks, and a fantastic ambiance. Without a doubt, it was the highlight of our trip to Tromsø in January 2025. We were fortunate to witness the aurora at its peak, dancing vividly across the sky. It was captivating beyond words.

We began our tour by meeting at the Ami Hotel. As we stepped out toward the car, we were immediately greeted by the breathtaking sight of the Northern Lights dancing above Tromsø. Excited, we set off for Sommarøy, where we witnessed an even more spectacular display of the aurora. David was an outstanding Northern Lights guide, making us feel completely at ease throughout the experience. He went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, even preparing a cozy bonfire and delicious food for us. Although the price is slightly higher than other tours, it was well worth it. David drives a well-equipped minivan (not a crowded minibus), and with only seven of us in the group, the experience felt personal and comfortable. Our international group quickly bonded, almost like a small family, thanks to David’s warm and professional guidance. I would highly recommend David to any friends or family planning a visit to Tromsø. Thank you, David!

We had a wonderful Northern Lights tour with Maria and Margo on Monday! Luck was on our side and we were able to see breathtaking Northern Lights. It was clear to us from the start that it was a natural spectacle that you can't guarantee. Maria and Margo accompanied us brilliantly on the tour and looked after us while we waited. We can recommend both Arctic Circle Tours Tromso and the two girls without hesitation! Thank you so much for this unforgettable and breathtaking trip!

Wonderful evening with Margot and the driver (Erd?). They truly tried their best for us all to witness the Aurora borealis. We started out with driving to Finland but conditions opened up while about 50 km outside Tromsø. Margot quickly decided to set up camp. We witnessed amazing Aurora in a gorgeous location on a fjord surrounded by beautiful mountain peaks. Sausages were provided to roast over a fire pit, stories were told, we even had a portable toilet in a tiny tent (heated!!). After about a couple of hours we continued to look for gaps in the sky and eventually found a spot just outside Tromsø where we witnessed the most amazing dancing Aurora. Margot and driver went above and beyond their quest for us to have this memorable night. I can’t express my gratitude enough! Highly recommend this tour company!! Merci beaucoup,…mange takk!!

Very organized. Our tour guide Rikie, driver Roy were very caring. David from the other bus took good photos of me and my wife. We enjoyed grilling hotdogs and sipping hot chocolates. We were blessed to witness a marvelous display of nature. We travelled from Tromso to Finland. We were back to our hotel around 230am. I personally recommend ACTT.

Last night, we went on a northern light tour with our guide David and what an experience we had ! Of course, we were very lucky to have an evening with lots of activity in the sky. But David took us to a beautiful spot, situated at a lake between the mountains. After a one-hour drive from Tromsø we had a blast on arrival as Lady Aurora showed herself on different locations in the sky. David took beautiful pictures of everyone (which he shared the next day in HQ for free !). Afterwards, he prepared hot drinks and hot dogs. Finally he got us some nice (cold) chocolate. A few hours later we drove to a fjord where we had another spectacular view from the Aurora lights. Again we were offered a donut. Finally we got back to Tromsø around midnight where he dropped us off at the hotel. I must say this was by far the most complete and most personal tour (3 couples) we’ve had so far. David’s passion for the Aurora Lights is genuine and he does his uttermost to make it comfortable. One advice : chose the thermal suits when offered, you’’ll need them ! 😎
