Arctic Club Hotel

This unique and elegant hotel is a hidden treasure. The building itself is a work of art full of character and charm along with all the modern comforts. The Polar Bar is cozy and serves amazingly delicious food and top tier service. (It sounds weird, but their brussel sprouts with Shishito peppers were the best I've ever had, and I don't even like brussel sprouts). Every team member from the front desk, to the valet ("Sammy" went above and beyond to take care of us), were friendly attentive and professional. It actually felt like they genuinely cared about us as guests. Tanya quietly observed us confused by the elevator and offered assistance without us even asking. We even received an upgrade on our seats to the Candlelight Beatles tribute string quartet! The show was breathtaking! We stayed overnight and went to this show so that my Mom and I could walk to her last oncology follow up appointment the next morning at Virgina Mason, so this gesture really made the whole event even more special to us. Thank you to the amazing people that run this fabulous hotel that helped us make this lasting memory. We will definitely be back soon!

This hotel is very charming. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The rooms have a romantic aesthetic to them. However, the mattress itself seemed to be quite old and uncomfortable. The complementary breakfast was quite delicious. They have an open fireplace in the dining room that offers a lovely atmosphere however, nearby. The fire is the fresh fruit so the fire makes a fruit a bit warm. Due to the history, charm and friendly customer service I would recommend taking a visit to this hotel.

We attended the Bridgerton candlelight show, held at the Arctic Hotel in downtown Seattle. It was a beautiful experience to be inside of a historic building, listening to a wonderful soundtrack with musicians who were thoughtful, relatable, and fun to listen to. They were talented and also took time to speak during the performance to engage with the audience. My only feedback for improvement is when purchasing tickets online. It would be really lovely to have a wheelchair seating option.

The location was very handy as we had an event in West Seattle and didn’t want to drive all the way home in the dark. The atmosphere gave a vintage vibe, which is what I love. The historical displays, including the past members photos was amazing. Our room was quite comfortable. The bed was just the right amount of softness. Despite being in downtown Seattle, which can be noisy, we were able to sleep well and slept in for a change.

We went to a candlelight concert here. It was a beautiful old building with updated bathrooms. I didn't stay overnight, so I can't speak for the rooms. But the concessions were yummy and not too steep price wise. The restaurant food smelled delicious. Definitely going to try the restaurant next time.

My wife and I had a great stay, and the hotel was very impressive. Outside, it doesn't look like much, but inside is pretty amazing. Great beds, pillows, and close to everything. Thanks for the great stay!

The staff at the hotel are kind and patient. They seem to always want to do whatever it is you need to have done and always with a smile. The breakfast is amazing in a beautiful setting at the bottom of the hotel, the rooms are West Coast American 19th century style, I think. They’re absolutely exquisite. The hotel is in a great location. We’ve done a lot of walking, we’ve visited Boeing, watched the Seahawks, walked to coffe shops and markets, and right at the heart of it is the hotel. I haven’t got a bad word to say about it.

Fantastic experience! It’s rare to find a hotel that has historic charm and modern amenities. The architectural touches and historic preservation are charming. The room is beautiful, the HVAC works well, and the blackout curtains work great. [pics are of corner king room] Clean gym, free hot breakfast, and friendly and helpful staff. I’ll gladly stay here again!

The Arctic Club Hotel in downtown Seattle is a beautiful gem, rich in history and charm. Known for its stunning architecture and vintage appeal, this older hotel exudes an ambiance that many find captivating. Some say it's haunted, but thankfully, I didn't experience anything unusual during my stay. One particularly memorable aspect was the old-fashioned elevator. The nostalgic dinging noise as it moved added a touch of character, though it could be a bit eerie for some. Despite this, the hotel is beautiful both inside and out. The decor and design reflect a bygone era, making it a unique and visually pleasing place to stay. Customer service at the Arctic Club Hotel was amazing. The staff was attentive and made sure our needs were met throughout our stay. The complementary breakfast every morning was absolutely amazing, offering a wide variety of delicious options to start the day. Additionally, the hotel boasts the cleanest gym I've ever been to, complete with two Peloton bikes, which was a fantastic feature for fitness enthusiasts. However, the view from our room was less than ideal. Looking down, the scene was dominated by a considerable number of homeless people, which was disheartening. If you focus your gaze a bit higher, the view transforms. One story up, and you're greeted with beautiful sights of the ocean and other gorgeous hotels in the vicinity. Overall, the Arctic Club Hotel offers a delightful blend of historical charm, excellent service, and modern amenities. While the immediate view from some rooms might be less than perfect, the overall experience, including the amazing breakfast and pristine gym, makes it a worthwhile stay.

Customer service is 8/5 stars. Everyone goes above and beyond to create a warm, inviting atmosphere. There are personalized touches, evidence of respect, and genuine human interaction at every turn. The security guards have been friendly and helpful. The concierge man Jon went out of his way to be inviting, inclusive, and personalize information sharing. But the most outstanding were the bar staff on Saturday night. Mike and Nora had this incredible ability to balance customer orders, bar prep, food delivery, jokes, individualized interactions, and keeping the bar clean/ tidy. My husband spent hours joking with them, slowly sipping on different drinks, and appreciating their professional skills. There were multiple

Location steps away from work, attractions, and history Was able to stay at the Arctic Club for work. It was literally a block away from my meetings and when done, adored the history and charm of the hotel. From the Edward S. Curtis photos (a quiet American treasure), to the hats and collars, to the style and bar, there's a lot to like about this hotel. Blocks away are Pike Place Market, access to the boat tours, and a visit to the amazing Seattle Central Library, and Smith Tower. Farther north and a little west are the Amazon Spheres, the Convention Center, shopping, and the like. The only real knock we had was that the room service never came and food options at night were a bit far.

I'm reviewing the hotel as a venue for the Candlelight Concert held there and the bar in the lobby. We didn't stay in the hotel or have food. Although the location can feel a little unsafe after dark, once you're on property, it felt fine. The entryway is very welcoming and was decorated for the holidays. We got there early so had a drink in the lobby. It was bustling as the concert was sold out. The bartenders were busy but friendly and got drinks quickly. The space for the concert on the second floor was gorgeous. Such a cool room and amplified by the candles and low lighting. I'd definitely come back for another event here.

This place has always been one of my favorite hotels in Seattle; I guess I am a fan of the older classic places. I have stayed here before many times. Then it was bought by Hilton a number of years ago, then closed during COVID. They even took the door handles off to avoid any riff-raff from happening on the grounds. I was bummed that the place closed and sad to see Hilton off-load it, but recently, it opened again under a small group called the Oxford Collection. They own five other hotels on the West Coast, so I did not know what to expect. Well, we stayed there for New Years and they did an awesome job. Check-in is now down electronically from home, if you wish, to make the process faster when you arrive. Their staff was awesome, the Polar Bar is a must visit and the rooms did not miss a beat. Clean, fresh, well-stocked and comfortable beds. To top it off, they gave me drink coupons when we were heading to Space Needle, which I did not use. I asked during check-out if I could use them again and they said no. Later that night, while at home, the phone rang and they said they applied our drink coupons for the mimosas we had during breakfast. Who does that anymore!! Awesome place and worth checking out. Just make sure you make reservations early this place books fast. Great job guys!

Loved this space for the Candlelight concert! The space was amazing! The staff friendly and helpful AND they had valet service which many places in seattle no longer have! The concert was incrdible! Such a great space for music!

First out the bat. The only reason I don't give this is a five star is that it is not a great neighborhood. But you are hard pressed to find anything better in downtown any more. We walked around at night but we were two blue collar guys that have both spent a lot of time in inner cities. But aside from that our experience was great. The door was opened for us by an employee and the check in clerk was very nice. Friendly and staff alone would earn three stars in my book. The interior screamed at us to sit in the overstuffed chairs and smoke a cigar and have a 25 year old whiskey. Cigars are no longer a thing, but no doubt the friendly and attentive bartender would be happy to pour you two fingers. The whole hotel felt clean, an oasis is the sticky streets of downtown. The hotel was also in easy walking distance of a good portion of the cool stuff. The arena, WaMu theater, Pioneer Square, Klondike Gold Rush National Park, Underground tour, etc were all close by. We were in town for Sumo and Sushi and we hit several bars on the way there and back. Room was immaculate, folded towel polar bears were cute, shower hot with plenty of pressure, plenty of pillows, mini bar prices were reasonable, and the chair was comfortable. Only notes are the toilet was a bit loose and I prefer being able to crack the window to get a touch of fresh air. Complimentary breakfast was above average for a nice hotel. I have had a lot worse, quite a few on equal and only a handful better and those mostly overseas. Only issue was a tad saltier than I like on the potatoes. This place would easily be five star without the folks outside camped in the neighborhood that hit you up for money or just yell your way as you pass. But again, hard to avoid that downtown, especially at night. Would happily stay here again.

Great location. Love the interiors. The details are amazing. The beds & pillows were very comfortable. I want one of those pillows. The bathroom was fantastic. Love the floor tiles. The room has a wonder coffee bar. The breakfast was really delicious. Impressed with the scrambled eggs, the bacon is perfect. Fresh berries. We will stay here again. The only negative is the city itself. My morning walk was about dodging the street zombies & poo on the sidewalk. Felt like I was in the game.. "Last of us". Not Arctics fault. It won't deter us from returning. The staff at the arctic is attentive, accommodating & all about customer service. Really enjoyed chatting with the front desk folks.

Our visit and strings convey was just perfect. The hotel is filled with Seattle history and architecture. We loved fed our corner whirlpool room and breakfast was good in the morning. The neighborhood was a bit sketchy but of no fault of this nice hotel. A wonderful experience.

Just got home from a four night stay here. It gets two stars for the location (close to where I was working) and for the creepy charm of it all. Minus three stars because of the front desk and valet staff.

Read accommodations. But not in a great spot in Seattle the homeless population is very rampant there. But it is close to the link station and to the marina area.

My sister and I had a very pleasant visit here. The hotel is half a block from the link station so super convenient for getting from the airport and around town. It is an old historic building with charming details. Our bathroom was large and as was the bedroom and all was very clean and quiet. The age showed in the placement of the electric outlets, so bring long cords. The complimentary breakfast includes sausage, potatoes, eggs as well as fruits, yogurts and various breads. There is a large comfortable open bar lounge adjacent to the front desk that serves drinks and meals from three pm on.The best part of the hotel was the staff who were uniformly lovely.

Good location. Great interior style. Very comfortable beds. Very close to the train station. My 2 issues. The lighting is generally dark, most problematic was the level in the bathroom. The other was the Wi-Fi. They have a known bug where you can't accept the terms and conditions and press accept. The window doesn't scroll so you are stuck with no access.

Mixed feelings about this place. Decent location close to many places. This area in Seattle is grappling with a homeless problem, but they have security at both entrances. Their housekeeping was not consistent. Maybe they are short staffed. We stayed six nights and only had our bed made once after I spoke with the housekeeper directly. Reporting to the front desk didn't help. They only cleaned the bathroom, but did not do the bed. They do have a nice full breakfast buffet with Starbucks coffee. Their service staff at the lower level restaurant and at the bar were very attentive.

if you are plan on bringing anyone under 21 don't bother . you can eat in a proper dinning area or use half of the amenities I was not impressed by the breakfast bagels were hard as a rock and it was very limited
