I’m a modern day guy and the food they’re not bad it’s not oily like other community. Also you guy think use Canadian Eskimo live in an igloo we do not use Canadian Eskimo lived a modern live. Great place to get food in town, super friendly staff they even tell you when you forget your hat, but don't be late the special is a hot item in town and disapear fast...

Room rate is very reasonable. Clean & comfy rooms with private bathroom, basic amenities, fridge, coffee. Free self service laundry. We got picked up at the airport, helped with truck rental & other activities we inquired about. The restaurant serves great food, we loved the daily specials set. Recommended Caesars salad & black forrest cake. Yummy!!! We will stay here again next time. Maybe next summer!

The team at the hotel were super helpful. We were a late arrival and not planned in advance due to weather changing our trip. They met the plane with vans. The hotel is very functional and that is likely the best way to describe it. It has everything you need albeit a bit older. You can hear in the halls but it was quiet at night. There is a restaurant on site. I had a great hot shower and slept fine. I would stay here again.

I came here for a last minute trip and came in during the traveling court circuit. It was busy and the staff were constantly on the go. We were greeted by the hotel manager, who was also the hotel cook. I hope Inns North is paying this guy good money because he was excellent to deal with. His professionalism was on par to professional greeters at the large fancy southern hotels, and the food he cooked was amazing. They really hit two birds with one stone with that guy! I put 3 starts not cause of the staff but because of the hotel. You are in the arctic, so it is what it is. The hotel was dated, the rooms were small, but comfortable. They use water and sewage trucks for delivery, so you need to run the taps to fill up the plumbing traps to stop the smell. The TV didn't work and because my room hadn't been occupied, the smell from the plumbing was strong and took a while to go away. Other then that, I had a good stay. So if you ever make your way to Cambridge Bay and are looking for a place to stay, I would recommend this place. Hopefully the same hotel manager/cook is still there when you arrive.

Great staff, clean, the Aurora Resteraunt was awesome for the many meals we all enjoyed there. Rob, Steph, Margaret took excellent care of the 2021 Census crew.

After their renovations the place looks really good. One of the only places in town that serves food all day. Clean rooms and friendly workers. The rooms got cleaned everyday and it's located close to everything in town.

There's not a lot of restaurant option within Cambridge Bay. Food price, like any northern community, is going to be more steep than the south and is a given. The restaurant was clean and the atmosphere is relaxing, with plenty of space to sit down and enjoy your meal. Service was very quick and prompt. The options are mostly sandwiches and fries, and I decided to go for an BLT with fries and a small bottle of orange juice. The portion size is very generous and the food is delicious.

I am writing this via a sat-link as lets just say there is no a lot of technology up here. I am bedding down for the night and what is so COOL is that the sun is still high in the sky and it is close to 8 pm. This is not the Ritz but for where I am in the world it is close to it. The people are so nice even though I am an outsider. The food at the eatery is also very interesting and I say that in the best meaning that you can accept it. Finally, SERVICE! The service is top notch!
