Loved our stay here, staff were so welcoming and helpful. Our room was clean, spacious, and beautiful but the best part was the mini sauna attached to the bathroom. Can’t forget about food, there were so many options at breakfast and the quality was amazing. Would highly recommend the Arctic Lights Hotel for your trip to Rovaniemi.

Very lovely hotel! Doesnt look as luxury from the outside, but it is from the inside. Lovely staff, comfy beds, delicious breakfast and lovely food in the restaurant served from the afternoon. Special mention for Waldemar, Polish waiter, Who is amazing and professional. I totally recommend this place!

This is an absolute gem of a boutique hotel. almost kind of faultless. It was our 1st trip to finland and so up north and had lowered our expectations in terms of quality hotel, but this place surprises you.|Friendly staff right from the reception to any area in the hotel.they are all eager and happy to address your needs.|small lobby with a cute little bar counter on one end and a nice sitting area in between and the reception counter at another end.the bartender is very friendly and can converse on various topics.|the rooms surprisingly are quite big and they have these large sliding windows and you can slightly open them for some cold fresh air, especially when it snows.not much traffic at night ,but when there is,you can hear it ,especially if your room is road facing like ours was.|breakfast is a good spread and once again beyond our expectation...hot and cold section with good variety of meats, cheese and fruits.the coffee machine serves up amazing coffee.|very centrally located and if you want to shop or dine in local restaurants ,its the perfect location for it.||It totally deserves its top ranking here on trip advisor and i will surely recommend this to anyone wanting to stay in Rovaniemi

Great hotel near city center.|Room was at first floor but it was very silent, no car noises. |Suprised that we had a room with little sauna -luxury! The room itself was cozy and there was plenty of pillows to choose from.|Also carparking was free, that was a very nice surprise too!||Breakfast was propably the best breakfast we had ever had at hotels.|Everything was very tasty, serving was beautiful, and as luxury there was eg fresh berries at little glasses and healthy shots and alcoholfree bubbly.||Staff- friendly and nice |Definately worth every euro (and the cost was very reasonable!)

A truly fantastic boutique hotel in the heart of Rovaniemi. The staff was incredibly friendly and the rooms were spotlessly clean and comfortable. The breakfast was one of the best I've ever had, full of delicious local treats. I will definitely be back.

This is a first-class hotel. The rooms are well-designed, staff are helpful and professional, food is excellent. We only spent one night here but wish we had stayed longer. The in-room sauna was a relaxing add-on, especially as they provide dressing gowns to wear afterwards.

In the heart of Rovaniemi, with a high end decoration including authentic Arctic touches, Arctic Light Hotel provides of a high quality stay and a very accommodating costumer service. This week has been outstanding and mainly thanks to the excellent treat received by Antonios. He made my week delightful, thank you! The food is delicious, definitely my favourite restaurant from Rovaniemi since 4 years now, every dinner manages to delight me. The breakfast is perfect. Excellence. Comfortable and beautiful hotel. Private sauna and massage available under request. Gym available.

As part of my one week journey from Rovaniemi back to Helsinki, I had selected the Arctic light hotel as my first accommodation.||Excellent choice!||I have had a very cosy room with a cute ice bear lying on the blanket (unfortunately not part of the services) and a bright and clean bath room.||The breakfast (as of 8 on a SUN) was outstanding, what a great variety and good quality of products, amazing! The G (Gluteenion = gluten free) declaration was done properly.||Overall very friendly staff to, thanks.||I even made use of both, the sauna (30mins included per room, needs to be reserved in advance) and the small Gym. Both nice amenities.||Overall, great performance, excellent hotel for a short or long stay in Rovaniemi.||Thank you very much indeed!

Yelp
Took the train and rented a car to stay here. Within walking distance of several places to eat and the river. Parking was tight and glad I got a space. The hallways are dark until you walk into them. The downstairs had a lot of people hanging out and I heard them through my room and it kept me up. The room was warm. Bathroom was clean. Windows looked to sidewalk and restaurants. Max the check in guy was nice. There is a bar and lots of booze in the room. Sauna.

Yelp
Beautiful, chic, comfortable hotel for our 2 night stay in Rovaniemi! The staff are friendly and helpful. Upon checkin we somehow got an upgraded room for free. The room we ended up with had a studio layout with beautiful views, lots of indoor and natural lighting. We had plenty of space. The whole room including the bathroom was modern and cozy. The bathroom even has heated tile floors (??)! I've never heard of that before, but the tile never got cold and I could feel some warmth on my bare feet when standing on it. The complimentary breakfast is amazing -- plenty of choices and vegetarian / vegan options too, with a beautiful spread. There is plenty of seating area in the lobby, and a gorgeous covered (in glass) patio area with tons of natural light. I highly recommend the Arctic Light Hotel -- you will not be disappointed ! (Note: they also have a restaurant inside which looks beautiful and classy! We would have eaten here at least once if our stay was longer)

Yelp
I can't not begin to say enough great things about this wonderful hotel! The location is wonderful, close to restaurants and bus stops. We were able to take the bus to Santa Claus Village for a minimal fee as the taxis were rather expensive to travel such a short distance. The airport shuttle stop was just across the street so it made transporting our luggage to and from RVN a breeze. The shuttle arrived an hour and a half before the next departing flight, they shuttle is supposedly in contact with the airport so it if is running late, it's good to know that youre flight will not leave without you on it! There were several different tour companies within a one block vicinity of the hotel, so it was very easy to book same day excursions. The staff was wonderful, from the bartender to the front desk. They made great recommendations for attractions as well as making last minute dinner reservations for my family! The hotel is beautifully appointment, modern, yet cozy! The lobby area is inviting and made us feel welcome to sit by the fire and have a cocktail. Our room was comfortable enough for two adults and one child and the view overlooked the street- I didn't not like the constant illumination of the street lights as the curtains did not reach to the very end of the window, so light was always seeming in through the sides, but that is a minor complaint. The bathrooms had heated floors which was nice since it's cold during the wintertime. The waterfall shower head was by far provided the best shower I've never taken away from home, and quite frankly probably one of the best we've had. Our son loved that there was a cute polar bear stuffed animal (€19) to greet us upon our entry, he names her 'Cutie' and ultimately came home with us. The private sauna is a nice way to unwind from the brisk temperatures outside, but be sure to make your reservation as the times seem to book up fast, well they did when we were there. The breakfast in the morning was divine, I loved the fresh and locally sources smoked salmon and cured meats and accompaniments. Also, omelet and boiled eggs, sausage, bacon, steamed broccoli and stewed mushrooms. There were also freshly squeezed juices and smoothies as well as baked desserts. You could dine in the hotel or pass through to the adjoining restaurant for a different atmosphere- Arctic Boulevard- which housed the same chic décor. It was certainly the highlight of our mornings. If you are ever in the Lapland and need a hotel recommendation, I cannot endorse this hotel enough! It made a great home away from home!

Yelp
One of the best hotels I have visited in Finland, if not the best. And believe me, I have stayed in many hotels. The service was outstanding from the first second to the last, the rooms were really nice and cosy with a lot of funny animal gadgets, the beds very comfortable. The restaurant was probably the best in town. The breakfast was different, very healthy and colorful. And the price was absolutely not so "over the top" compared to other design hotels. All in all, a superb experience. If I go to Rovaniemi again, I will for sure stay in Arctic Light!

Yelp
It's the best hotel in Kaplan for sure and maybe it's also the best hotel in Finland. It's new and very cosy.
