Myself working in the food biz and having personally being part of the whole BMO scene, I know how hard it is to deliver a consistently good product.
Maybe only one bun out of the +30 buns I’ve had from Ard in the past year, have been just below near perfect. Says a lot.
There’s plenty of bakeries in cph that specializes in BMOs, but very few make a bun consistently this good.
Sesame seeds on both sides, airy crumb, well caramelized, thick pieces of cheese and descent amount of butter.
The only thing I can critique is the butter, not sure if they season their own, but if they do, they could throw in a little for salt. Just my preference.
Anyway, all in all the sesame bun is a 5/5. Shared Top 1 spot (in my opinion there’s only 2 good ones, no need to name the other one)
