Fantastic location with an easy walk into the town. Plenty of parking. The spacious twin room had an ensuite. Shared kitchen, that was very clean. Would definitely book again.

A delightful place with large, clean, well- appointed rooms, with separate dining and living room areas fo guests, nestled in a lively garden. Host Theresa made us feel very much welcomed and breakfast was the best we had in Ireland! Very highly recommended!

This is a really lovely b and b. We had a very comfortable, light, airy room and delicious breakfasts. You can walk into Donegal Town from the b and b in 15 minutes. Theresa is a delightful host, and her husband cooks beautiful breakfasts! In town we enjoyed a stroll to the quayside, enjoyed the Bank walk, explored the abbey ruins, the castle and browsed the shops. Excellent Irish music and Irish dancing in The Reel Inn. Great Italian food in Bella Donna. Nice seafood is served in the Old Castle Bar.

We stayed at Ard na Breatha 5 years ago, and although it is a bit out of Donegal town, it is a quick drive in, and we never had an issue parking either on the street or in the parking lot near the quay. Theresa and her husband, Albert, are lovely people, and make you feel very welcome. Much to our surprise, the B&B had been done over, and the new color scheme of soft grays is so well done. The addition of a kitchen area for guests to use is a real plus. Having access to tea and coffee and use of a fridge is a nice bonus. Highly recommend Ard na Breatha. Two positive experiences here.

Ard na Breathe was a perfect stay! I traveled with my partner and parents, and we all had a wonderful experience. We got a flat tire on our way into the town, and the B&B was accommodating of our unexpectedly very late arrival. They recommended a great place to get takeaway in the town on our way in, and they helped us find a place to get a new tire! We also loved meeting Theresa, one of the staff at Ard na Breatha. My family was traveling to explore genealogy in Donegal county, and she kindly connected us with an old friend from the village our family from. We feel so lucky to have stayed here! ||||The B&B itself was cozy and clean. It is set a bit out of the town and is surrounded by pastures of sheep! Breakfast was delicious and accommodating to vegetarians. We wish we could've spend more time in Donegal and would be thrilled to stay here again in the future!

We had a mountain view room for 2 nights. We were at the end of the hall upstairs; our room had a king-sized bed, and the bathroom had a tub (which is rare in Ireland lol). The room was quiet and there was plenty of space for our things. There's a hair dryer in the vanity. Downstairs, there's access to the kitchen for coffee & tea, as well as an "honor bar" - some alcoholic beverages as well as the prices for them, just leave the money on the counter (on your honor); also, the breakfast area has a couple of couches if you want to relax with your drink. The bed was a bit too firm for me (most tend to be), and the pillows were flat, but there were several. The house is not near a busy road, so it's quiet, but it's near enough to town to be convenient. Breakfast was wonderful. Check-in and out was very simple. We felt very welcomed. If WiFi is important for you, it was a little spotty - sometimes in the room it was ok, but it was strongest in the hallway.

I cannot believe I forgot to write about this lovely gem of a place. ||Location was convenient to Donegal center. Easy & Safe walk. ||The b&b was quiet, delightful, & breakfast was always delicious. The rooms were also quiet, clean, & spacious. I traveled with my son. Our room was 2 beds, ensuite, first floor.

Lovely location with views over hills and the valley. Very quiet and peaceful. Therese is a delightful hostess. There is now a room with tea and coffee facilities and microwaves which residents can use themselves. Very good buffet breakfast with some cooked options. I recommend the scrambled eggs with smoked salmon.
