Arden House B&B - Arundel

A lovely guest house very close to both the railway station and the lovely town of Arundel. Our bedroom was comfortable, well appointed and spotlessly clean. Lucie was an exceptional host. We will certainly be recommending it to family and friends.

Just had a wonderful stay here. Lovely room, comfortable bed and pillows. Just a short walk into the town. Was able to book a parking space in advance which was useful. Lucie was a fantastic host and was able to accommodate my gluten free needs as a Coeliac. Breakfast was delicious. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

"I had a great stay at this hotel! The rooms were clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed. The staff were very friendly and always ready to help. The hotel is in a good location—just a short walk from the train station and the town center, which made it easy to get around.||I also left behind a lavender bag, and the owner was so kind to find it and even mailed it to me at no cost. I’m really thankful for their kindness and would definitely stay here again if I come back to Arundel. Highly recommend!"

We had an incredible stay! The place was absolutely amazing, and our room was perfect. Lucie and Iain went above and beyond by accommodating our request to switch rooms, and we couldn't be happier. Highly recommended!

We were spending our NYE at Butlers & new we didn't want the hassle of a taxi back to Chichester after midnight..|A bit of research & price comparison & we found ourselves( 3) booked in for 1 night ( NYE )..|All the boxes in terms of cleanliness, comfort, warmth & a continental breakfast were ticked..|We'll happily stay again 👍..|Thankyou..😊

This place is brilliant. It reflects the care and attention the owner (and host) has put into it over the past decade. Lucie has thought about everything to make your stay stress free and comfortable. The B&B is well placed only 5 minutes walk from the centre of Arundel. It is very clean and warm and hospitable. It is in a very quiet part of the town. The room is large and has very good tea, coffee and biscuit supplies in the room. The en-suite is large and well thought out too. The entrance hall is accessible via a code sent to your phone and the code is for your room too. The entrance hall is welcoming and has leaflets of things to do in the area. There are even umbrellas for you to use in the entrance hall. There is also a door to the dining room which has about 8 tables in it. There is a self service breakfast bar for the continental breakfast offered. You order tea or coffee from Lucie who will be there at the time you want your breakfast. On offer are yoghurts, fresh fruit, cut strawberries/blackberries/melon, cereals including muesli and all the commercial cereals like cornflakes etc. There are croissants and crunchy wheat bars, and honey, maple syrup and jam and toast plus orange and cranberry juice. You can also order a boiled egg. The coffee was very nice!

Welcoming hosts, well appointed room, very comfy bed! Breakfast was delicious too. The B&B is just a few minutes walk from the centre of Arundel and the castle. Many lovely small independent shops. Great area for restaurants and bars too. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend.
