Arden House B&B - Arundel

I’ve just enjoyed an incredible weekend in Arundel staying at Arden House. Lucie was a fantastic host, organising reflexology for us and leading a visit to Arundel Castle. She recommended shops and restaurants and was wonderful. The B&B is in a perfect location, just a few minutes walk from the castle. Clean, lovely decor, great facilities. My ground floor room was beautiful and very comfortable with plenty of space. A lovely welcome pack, tea, coffee and biscuits in the room. Nice selection for breakfast and reading materials available for guests to use for hiking etc. we had a fantastic weekend, thanks to Lucie and her lovely B&B.

I have just returned from a weekend break in Arundel staying in the Arden House B&B. Firstly, what a great location. I booked my parking and enjoyed a car free weekend. The B&B is in a great location, 2 minutes walk into the town centre with its independent cafes, antique, book and craft shops. It was easy to explore Arundel Castle and grounds, which were glorious in the autumn sunshine.||Back at Arden House, my room was ensuite and had everything I wanted. It was clean, had good quality bed linen and a comfortable mattress & pillow. I slept well, which is rare when I am away from home. A bright room with bay windows, plenty of hangers for my excessive amounts of clothes, just for a weekend, a tv and a kettle. The continental breakfast was plentiful with fresh croissants and fruit. My decaf tea cup was replenished so I was refreshed for exploring.||Lucie the proprietor was both welcoming and engaging, full of knowledge about the local area and we followed her suggestion as we wanted good pub food on our first night. She clearly works hard to ensure her guests enjoy their stay.

We have stayed in quite a few B & B s in the UK which we thought were pretty good This one surpasses the others in leaps and bounds. The host is so friendly, the accommodation is so comfortable and clean but it’s the little things that make the big difference like The welcome note and the lolly on your towels on the bed, the bath robe when you get out of the shower, bath slippers. these are things that you don’t really expect to find in a B&B and this is why it makes such a big difference. Little surprises. Thank you, Lucie for a truly pleasurable experience

We stayed in the en-suite room here and it is lovely, Lucie the host is fantastic, breakfast is continental and expertly presented, great coffee too. Location is perfect, car parking available if space allows, a great perk if you know Arundel. Would only stay here again when visiting, Lucie will also match online rates if you book direct, I would rather pay the venue and avoid the staggering percentage the big corporations charge her, thanks Lucie, we shall return.

Arden House is such a delightful B&B - so thoughtfully presented with everything a traveller seeks in a stay; fresh, lovingly appointed rooms with unique touches including bathrobes, slippers and a spongebag. Breakfast was bountiful and carefully presented perfect for hungry walkers! Lucie was a very gracious and informative host, helping us with tips about things to see and do, eateries and an alternative option for when the Castle was closed. Thank you Lucie for a great stay. 5 stars!

Really good stay last weekend, Lucie was really accommodating in letting us check in early and leave bags for a few hours when we checked out and strolled around Arundel. Nice and comfortable, reasonably priced and within a short walk across the bridge to the cafes and shops. Likely to stay again if visiting the area in future.

A great location, very clean and welcoming host. Plus a delicious breakfast. Also the host went the extra mile in sorting out booking after a mix up. Highly recommended.

Lovely place, clean and tidy. Perfect location!|Luci was amazing and very helpful. We are definitely going back to visit this cute part of the country and stay at Arden house again.
