Great stay. Everything as advertised and breakfast one of the best we have ever had at a guest house. Kirsty and Kev made everything very easy and were able to accommodate a lovely breakfast in takeaway bag when we needed to leave early on checkout day. Their own chickens and focus on local produce meant everything was fresh and get support for local economy. Guesthouse itself right in Aviemore. Whilst we had a car for flexibility, it is one of the few areas in Highlands you would not need as buses etc. regularly passing by go to hiking locations.

Kirsty and Kevin are exceptionally gracious hosts. They patiently (very patiently) shared their extensive local knowledge with us and made excellent recommendations for hikes and dinner places. They are both kind and funny too!|Breakfasts were amazing. I think we counted 9 different kinds of fresh fruit in Kirsty’s fresh fruit and yogurt bowl; and Kevin’s eggs - fresh from their own chickens - were cooked perfectly. Be sure to try his tomato chutney too. |Our room was spotless, and we enjoyed the sweet thistle decorating theme. The breakfast room was light and also decorated wonderfully. Parking on the street was easy. The guest house is very conveniently located within very short walking distances to the train station and town, as well as countless hiking areas.|Alas, we should have stayed more than 2 nights. |If we could have packed Kirsty and Kevin in our suitcases and brought them home we would have!

We stayed 2 nights in Aviemore and luckily it was here. Such a welcoming couple of hosts made our trip. We enjoyed sitting in the garden shelter both evenings with a bottle of wine. The bed was lovely and comfortable. The breakfast choice is standout exceptional and very well cooked. Thanks for a wonderful visit!

Staying at Ardlogie made our trip so worth it! Kirsty and Kevin are very genuine and welcoming people who deserve lots of recognition for all the thoughtfulness they give into making the start of your day special. We loved the hot tub and the sauna, and even the chickens going about. We must add that the food was more than good enough, so many options and it was always presented beautifully. We definitely got a good feed to get us through the day. Most importantly we felt at home and would definitely visit again in the future and recommend to anyone :) Thankyou so much Ben & Bri x

A great location for the town, yet peaceful. Lovely room, well appointed with comfy beds. Kevin and Kirsty clearly pour their heart and soul into this Guest house, helping wherever they can - providing a shed for our bikes, and a map with recommendations of where to go, particularly off the tourist trail. A superb breakfast and the best porridge I've had whilst in Scotland!

Cracking B&B and base for the Aviemore side of the Cairngorms. Kevin and Kirsty are superb hosts and are happy to discuss itineraries. Breakfasts are simply superb, we will be back if only to finish off all the options on the menu. Comfortable room at a reasonable price.

I cannot say enough about how welcoming, helpful, and friendly our hosts were. Nothing was too much trouble and it was clear that they wanted all their guests to have a fantasic experience of Ardlogie and Aviemore. The breakfasts were epic and we appreciated the local produce used. You simply must book here; and do look out for the roving chickens and other wildlife in the garden!

Great location with the best hosts, Kirsty and Kev were extremely welcoming and had everything you would need to plan your time in Aviemore. Breakfast was amazing and the rooms very clean and comfortable. We plan to be back for more Munros and cycling before the end of the year.
