The whole experience at Ardlogie was wonderful. We asked to check in early (it was 30 degrees C and we were between bookings) and they sorted our room so we could do that. When we arrived, they were friendly and welcoming and the room was clean and comfortable there was a fan (which was very much needed). The breakfast choice was huge (order the night before) and delicious. I had herby scrambled eggs with homemade chutney and my partner had smoked haddock omelette, but there were huge fried breakfasts on offer too, as well as much lighter things. Kevin and Kirsty was so welcoming, and full of local knowledge of where to go and what to do whilst in Aviemore. We stayed for two nights and will definitely stay again. A lovely high point was sitting in the garden amongst the chickens ducks and rabbits one evening. So cute!! Overall it was wonderful and we felt very well taken care of.

Great stay. Everything as advertised and breakfast one of the best we have ever had at a guest house. Kirsty and Kev made everything very easy and were able to accommodate a lovely breakfast in takeaway bag when we needed to leave early on checkout day. Their own chickens and focus on local produce meant everything was fresh and get support for local economy. Guesthouse itself right in Aviemore. Whilst we had a car for flexibility, it is one of the few areas in Highlands you would not need as buses etc. regularly passing by go to hiking locations.

Kirsty and Kevin are exceptionally gracious hosts. They patiently (very patiently) shared their extensive local knowledge with us and made excellent recommendations for hikes and dinner places. They are both kind and funny too!|Breakfasts were amazing. I think we counted 9 different kinds of fresh fruit in Kirsty’s fresh fruit and yogurt bowl; and Kevin’s eggs - fresh from their own chickens - were cooked perfectly. Be sure to try his tomato chutney too. |Our room was spotless, and we enjoyed the sweet thistle decorating theme. The breakfast room was light and also decorated wonderfully. Parking on the street was easy. The guest house is very conveniently located within very short walking distances to the train station and town, as well as countless hiking areas.|Alas, we should have stayed more than 2 nights. |If we could have packed Kirsty and Kevin in our suitcases and brought them home we would have!

Absolutely amazing stay at this cosy yet luxury style traditionally decorated 'bothy'. Very well equipped throughout, and great location for exploring both the local and wider area. Centrally located yet still quiet enough to relax and enjoy the countryside, especially with a wee dram in hand! Welcome pack on arrival was very much appreciated. Would definitely want to book this again.|ps, watch out for wee Archie's comments which change!

Staying at Ardlogie made our trip so worth it! Kirsty and Kevin are very genuine and welcoming people who deserve lots of recognition for all the thoughtfulness they give into making the start of your day special.
We loved the hot tub and the sauna, and even the chickens going about. We must add that the food was more than good enough, so many options and it was always presented beautifully. We definitely got a good feed to get us through the day.
Most importantly we felt at home and would definitely visit again in the future and recommend to anyone :)
Thankyou so much

A great location for the town, yet peaceful. Lovely room, well appointed with comfy beds. Kevin and Kirsty clearly pour their heart and soul into this Guest house, helping wherever they can - providing a shed for our bikes, and a map with recommendations of where to go, particularly off the tourist trail. A superb breakfast and the best porridge I've had whilst in Scotland!
