The hotel itself is stunning — modern, luxurious, and effortlessly elegant but what truly sets it apart are the breathtaking views, impeccable attention to detail, and the warmest, most professional staff we’ve ever encountered. The rooftop bar is a standout experience on its own. Overlooking the city and stretching out to the horizon, it offers panoramic views that are nothing short of magical… especially at sunset with a cocktail in hand. It’s the perfect blend of relaxed luxury and vibrant atmosphere. Dining at Terasu Restaurant was an absolute highlight. Every dish was a work of art 🥘 fresh, inventive, and full of flavour. The menu is clearly crafted with passion, and the service was just as impressive. The staff were knowledgeable, attentive without being overbearing, and genuinely made us feel like VIPs. Whether you’re staying for a special occasion or just treating yourself to a night of indulgence, Ardo delivers on every front 🤍comfort, style, service, and unforgettable food. We can’t wait to return.

Snacks and drinks at the rooftop bar on a Friday afternoon evening was lovely. Staff were fabulous and very efficient. We just had a few light snacks which were good so can’t really comment on the food. Next time we will go to the restaurant which looks like it has a wonderful menu. Our room was gorgeous looking out to magnetic island with a balcony and very comfy chairs. The bed, mini bar and bathroom were lovely too. Room service for breakfast was very efficient and the food was still hot. We will definitely stay there again. Refreshing to stay in a hotel with such efficient and friendly service.

We absolutely love going to ARDO! The views are stunning, service great and food and cocktails perfect. Such a fabulous space- Kosta and his team are brilliant- will always be back!

We experienced such excellent service and wonderful food and drinks here, that we went three evenings in a row! The staff were so friendly and kind for my birthday celebration and remembered us the following nights and our table request. We had the most gorgeous view of the marina, castle hill and the sunset each evening. It’s such a lovely vibe on the rooftop and all the cocktails we had were delicious. The burgers are also really good. Highly recommend booking a balcony table for the amazing views and experiencing the fantastic ambience and drinks for yourself. Staff are super attentive and we thank them for making our ARDO stay special! 10/10 🤩

Ardo is an absolute must-visit! Stunning views, great vibes and an amazing DJ create the perfect atmosphere. The menu offers a great variety of flavours, and everything we tried was delicious. It’s definitely the place to be, especially if you enjoy watching the sunset with good music and great company.

Come on Townsville! Ardo Rooftop is amazing. It was a bit of a cloudy day that opened up. We were only in Townsville for the day. Server Leila sat us at a perfect table and became a friend. Leonardo (Leo) treated everyone with warmth and hospitality. Bartender Tana took solid care of us and got us an ice bucket to enjoy a nightcap. Love these people and this place! We are Grey Canadian Nomads. This was the perfect watering hole!

Great location, beautiful view, lovely staff, terrible food. I visited a year ago and loved the share plates, raved about Ardo and brought my partner back here as we just moved. However, this time the food was very disappointing. The flat bread dough was undercooked and the flavours weren't to our taste. The calamari did not exist underneath the batter. The lamb ribs and oysters were well flavoured. Overall it was very over priced for very underwhelming food. I would come back for drinks and the vibe but not the food unfortunately.

The Ardo Rooftop Bar was hands down one of the best experiences I’ve had. The atmosphere, views, and overall vibe were incredible and made the night feel special from the moment I arrived. A huge highlight was the bartender, Airlye. She was friendly, attentive, and extremely skilled, every drink was made perfectly, and the hospitality genuinely elevated the entire experience. I couldn’t recommend Ardo Rooftop Bar enough. Exceptional service and an unforgettable night.
