Lovely food, with amazing flavours and tastes. Very clued up on allergens and specifically Gluten Free which is critical for my wife as a coeliac. Kids and I shared tapas and paella and wife had a beautiful steak. Thanks for a lovely meal and great service 💯

What a gem in St Ives - an unpretentious fine dining experience. Being our first visit to St Ives with only time for one dinner we stumbled upon Ardor as we were walking past. The ambience and decor is cosy and inviting. We were given a seat at the chef's counter where we were able to experience a feast for the eyes as well as the palate. We selected a mix of starters and main to share and dessert: Mussels from near St Austell Paella from the specials board Pork ribs (pulls apart like pulled pork) Side salad Basque cheesecake Chocolate and orange brulee Coffee and cognac I had such high expectations for the mussels and it not disappoint. Utterly delicious and so fresh and soft. Likely the best mussels I've tasted to date. The selection all paired well together and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal by head chef and owner Dorian and team. Sitted at the chef's counter, I can attest to the wide range of dishes being served and each one looked delicious, thoughtful and fresh. The most amazing quality food in a really beautiful setting. The time and effort from the staff to ensure our best dining experience was 100%. A fabulous find and definitely recommend. We will visit again during our next St Ives visit. Thank you to the team for your attention, to acknowledge our special 30 years milestone celebration. Wow ! This place is off the charts ! Food was so delicious. A great comprehensive menu and locally sourced specials. So many good dishes we struggled to choose. Cocktails were on another level and service was on point. The head chef even had time to talk us through his kitchen and inspiration. There is even a bespoke vegan menu . St Ives is lucky to have a gem like this and we look forward to our next visit . Thankyou

Visited with 5 University friends. Had a variety of starters, all mains were steaks or mixed grills. With veggies, fries and onion rings. Meat was outstanding, especially the rib eye. Great desserts and wine list. Service was excellent. Recommended.

I should, but I don’t often leave reviews. We have eaten at Ardor a number of times as it’s my favourite restaurant in St Ives…my husband likes it but has his favourite somewhere else. We ate at Ardor on Xmas Eve with our teenage sons and we can all honestly say that what we ordered was absolutely delicious, so much so, it has now become my husband’s favourite restaurant too! The rump steak, paella and chisstora sausage being his ‘craving dishes’. I LOVE the mushroom starter and I also LOVED the Paella! We think the Paella deserves a permanent spot on the menu 🙏 The service is always 10/10. The cocktails are also 10/10. We can’t wait to come back here again in February. Well done Ardor team!

Had dinner here tonight and everything was delicious! We ordered a few plates and shared between two. Really good value and great location. Lovely staff as well! I’d definitely be back! I would recommend booking though as it’s popular!

Exceptional, creative, well-executed Sunday roast! Generous portions of fall apart brisket, perfectly cooked roast beef, cauliflower with manchego cheese, roasted broccoli, creamed spinach, swede, carrots, and the traditional elements. Best meal we've had in Cornwall. And we were very pleased with the way we were received by the smart and friendly Harvey; the person that meets you at the door sets the tone for your dining experience.Thank you Harvey; you know customer service!
