It's a magical place. I liked it. What bothered me a little was that it's not possible to see it without a guide. The guide didn't speak much English and so I found it unnecessary. And the security argument for his presence was slightly exaggerated.

Fantastic place. The views and the ruins are surely worth the precarious road you have to go through in order to get there.
The women in the shed is a real archaeologist, passionate about the Nuragic culture and capable of talking in several languages.
Great attraction if you are in one of the beaches of the area, to visit on your way back to the accommodation.

This Nuarghe is located directly over Cala Gonone abd you have a magnificent view over the beaches nearby. The Nuarghe itself is also quite interesting and there is even a small Museum nearby. Take the road to agritourismo Nuarghe an continue taking a left, to another agritourismo. This is the much better road and the closest parking place to the Nuarghe.

Site is fine, not well maintained and quite overgrown. Not worth going out of your way for.

Very small site 30 min plus explanation but definitely worth it if you are in Cala go one don’t miss.
