I don’t understand how this place only has a 4.1 rating but I suspect prices being slightly above average must be the reason. The atmosphere or quality of food definitely ain’t it and coming back to the prices - maybe read the menu beforehand? This is as fresh as seafood can get, the selection of dishes is unrivalled and you should be able to get a table with much wait. Highly recommend and I will definitely be back…

Food was fantastic. Lovely menu with many options and great ambiance. Went here 3 times in a 6 day trip. Enjoyed each time. Staff was amazing as well.

Aree Seafood is a 24-hour seafood restaurant, and we dropped in around midnight looking for a late-night feed. The place was buzzing — a mix of expats, western tourists having drinks, and a few locals. There’s a whole strip of vendors inside offering everything from sashimi to grilled seafood, but we stuck with the main Thai food stall. The standout dish for me was definitely the blood cockles — you crack them open yourself, pull out the meat, and dip it into this spicy green sauce that was absolute fire. The other dishes were solid but nothing to rave about. The rice noodles weren’t really my thing texture-wise, but they had decent flavour. We also got a seafood curry with satay powder, which was pretty good and worked well with the rice. The papaya salad was fresh and light — a good balance to everything else. The chicken dish had a pack full of flavour, not bad. The total came to about 70-100 AUD with drinks, which feels a bit pricey for Thai street food, but still way cheaper than what you’d pay for the same spread in Melbourne. Overall, not mind-blowing but a great late-night option if you’re in the area.

Kind of street food place with very tasty and authentic dishes fresh, having traditional Thai cuisine. Have eaten at this place many times and keep returning even after a year or so. Staff are attentive and helpful. Attaching some food from my personal experience during dining in this place. It is kind of out although with the roof and many ventilators. Enjoy 😊

Wide variety of Thai local food, both seafood and meat. Everything we tried was good but the salt roasted fish was particularly unique and delicious. It can get a bit hot if you are not sitting near a fan. Thats my only critique. A few more fans recommended. Staff friendly and helpful.

The menu offers a variety of dishes. We stumbled in off the street and came back for more. We ordered chicken wings, seafood salad, noodles with duck, and mango. Everything was pretty good! Considering the large number of tables and people they serve, this restaurant provides consistent and tasty food. Servers were efficient. Many families ate here with their kids late at night. Everyone seemed happy. We were too.

One of the best traditional restaurants in Sukhumvit! I’m here every year and the dished are authentic foods in this area. The variety is massive and all dished can be ordered to different spice levels. Staff is kind and can’t wait to go there again. Area is not air-conditioned but fans are everywhere.

this restaurant and nana seafood are both on sukhumvit road, near each other, l visited nana seafood a few times, so this time i decide to dine at aree, similar to nana, both offer varieties of dishes on the menu, including tasty seafood, but you can also order japanese food here, see my photos, in fact i found many favourite dishes on the menu, including steamed fish, i am.not too hungry this time, so i only ordered grilled scallop with cheese, 4 pieces, to eat with rice, and chinese tea, and punch, i would certainly came back next time for more, oh one important thing, nana seafood would charged 2-3% more on the bill if you use credit card, i think same for this restaurant
